Billie had to stop at one of the stations to have a sit down talk with Paige's brother. She didn't even want to know why he started shooting at her wedding. She wanted answers as to who the hell was Eric.

She knew that Eric was his greatest enemy but she needed to ask him. He was the only person that could give her the answers to her questions. She needed his help.

"The statement that you made before you shot my husband. 'She promised to expose you on your wedding day' what was that" Billie inquired.

Paige's brother, being quite stubborn, adamantly declined to respond to any of Billie's inquiries. No matter how persistent or probing Billie's questions were, Paige's brother remained resolute in his refusal to provide any answers.

"Please. I am living with a man I know nothing about. What do you know about my husband" Billie begged.

"I won't" he reacted.

Billie found herself in a state of bewilderment as she gazed at him, unable to tear her eyes away.

Conflicting emotions swirled within her, unsure if anger or frustration dominated her thoughts. All she yearned for were the answers that remained shrouded in secrecy, yet he persisted in his obstinacy.

The realization struck her deeply: she had been married to a stranger, a person whose true nature eluded her grasp. The weight of this realization intensified her desire for knowledge, making his reluctance all the more maddening.

"I pity for you" he replied finally "I pity because your husband is one of the most dangerous and vicious people in this city. I'll tell you what you want. Your husband doesn't deserve you" he answered.

Billie was left reeling, unsure of how to process the weight of his words.

The message echoed relentlessly in her mind: "Your husband is the most dangerous and vicious person in this city." It sent shivers down her spine, igniting a mix of fear and curiosity within her.

She yearned to unravel the truth, to understand the depths of her husband's darkness. However, every attempt to delve deeper into the topic was met with his stubbornness.

He adamantly refused to disclose any further information, citing his own safety as the primary concern.

The frustration gnawed at her, leaving her desperate for answers while simultaneously fearing the potential consequences he hinted at. It was a maddening predicament, leaving her trapped in a web of uncertainty and a burning desire for the truth.

"One more question. Do you know anyone by the name Ella Rose" Billie asked him. He paused for a second thinking about his next answer. This answer could determine what would happen to his life.

"Yes" he acted. "Okay...Who's she" Billie questioned.

"We. We all including Paige, work for your husband. Who works for someone else. I can't say names. His empire" he responded.

Billie needed to know more. What was his job? She couldn't just stop here. She still had loads of unanswered questions.

"Then what about Marie. Do you know Marie. Was she involved " she requested.

"She knows nothing about us. She was just used as a pawn by Ella to retrieve the drug rate money for your husband" he told her.

"Could you describe Ella for me" billie proposed. "She's tall, light complexion, and she drives a red Honda" he told her.

"Thank you. I really appreciate your help," Billie said gratefully as she hastily made her way out of the jail. Her mind was racing, overwhelmed by a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions. Who was Eric, really?
