Omniscient pov.

"I think we're ready now." Aiden said after having placed the last baby bottle in the top shelve.

Ezra couldn't find the words to express how much he wanted to tackle this family life.

Almost at their due date the two have finished the prep. Aiden knew he didn't have to work at all for their income to stay stable but he loved filming YouTube videos for his viewers to comment on so he did that regularly while Ezra continued his basketball career.

"I can't believe we're going to be parents." Aiden mumbled. "Same but I know we got this." Ezra pecked his lips.

"He'll be here around my birthday!" Aiden exclaimed to which Ezra raised his brows. "Oh shit yeah your birthday." He spoke.

"You didn't forget did you?" Aiden asked sadly although he understood that there was just a lot going on right now for his birthday to stay on the other mind. He still found it hard to believe.

"No of course not." Ezra seemed to be lying. With that moment they separate and each get ready for bed.

Ezra tried his best to hold onto him and shower him in love until the day of Aiden's birthday. Their interactions minimized and it scared Aiden. He felt like the baby coming might be too overwhelming and they could fall out.

"Wake up baby." Ezra shook the younger male next to him lightly. "Why?" Aiden sat up quickly. "We need to go!" Ezra quickly scrambled to get their clothes.

Aiden too tired to ask any more questions just got dressed and followed him outside to their car. Ezra pulled out quickly. "Bae what is going on?" Aiden asked worried.

"I hope it ain't gone yet." Ezra replied. The ride wasn't long. They got there in no time. Ezra led Aiden out of the car and got a telescope out of the trunk.

"What the fuck." Aiden mumbled confused watching as his boyfriend set it up fixing the lense. "Look." Ezra stepped aside for him to look.

Aiden still confused and tired squinted one eye and watched for a few seconds until he saw a colorful bright shooting star flash before him.

This had to have been the best thing he could've woken up to on his birthday. Only when it was gone he turned around to see Ezra on one knee below him with a ring in a small box.

"Happy birthday Aiden.. Will you make me the happiest man out there and marry me?" Ezra spoke growing nervous as Aiden only stood infront of him wide eyed.

"Yes." The sound barely came out as he covered his mouth to keep in the sob. The ring being placed on his finger made him realize that this was real.

"You scared me." Aiden sobbed into Ezra's chest when he embraced him in a hug. "You know how long it took me to come up with something like this and find the perfect moment and then I almost overslept it? Hell nah." Ezra chuckled.

"I knew you didn't forget." Deep down Aiden couldn't believe Ezra had forgotten his birthday.

"It was so hard not to tell you about this." Ezra mumbled. After a long time of holding eachother Aiden looked up. "Can we go back to bed now?" Ezra laughed at the question and nodded his head.

Before he shut Aiden's side of the car he took hold of his hand and led it to his mouth to peck the ring on his finger.

They were both really happy that despite all the bumps in the road and their differences they made it this far together.

Love happy endings over heree
