Anyone here?
Aiden Carter
I'm happy I get to see Miami for the first time. I'm even happier to stay there with Ezra. I would've loved for his grandma to be there too so we could bond and I wouldn't be all alone when he gets on the court but she insisted we show her where to watch the game on YouTube live because she wasn't happy with the idea of basketball fans screaming in her ear.
So here I am sitting in this airplane next to Ezra who claims he could've drove us to the hotel all the way in Miami but I didn't want to do that to him. So here we are flying.
In all honesty I don't think I'm very happy in this relationship. I feel ungrateful because although he can be an asshole, he's still a sweetheart.
This man has literally not let go of my hand the whole flight and he left the house real late yesterday just to go find some snacks I had been seeing all over my timeline.
He's really trying and I still don't feel like we should be together. I don't want to hurt him though because the way he was opening up to me that day was heartwarming.
Yet it also broke my heart to hear how bad I could possibly hurt him by leaving him. It's so complicated because I also want to be with him real bad.
"What you got on yo on mind shorty?" I hear him whisper in my ear so I turn to him and smile lightly as a type of assurance that everything is fine. "Thank you for taking me with you." I lay my head on his shoulder.
"Of course. Thank you for coming." I feel him peck the top of my head while squeezing my hand softly.
I give us about half an hour before the next disagreement. But the moment we get off the plane and in the rental car, shit starts.
"I hate to tell you what to do but you should put on your seatbelt." I say as he's putting in the address of the hotel in his phones map.
"Why'd you have to add the first part?" He sighs. "Because you told me how you felt about me telling you what to do.." I explain.
"Don't throw that shit in my face after I apologised." He says sitting in his seat without starting the car. He just looks forward and I have to choose my words wisely because I don't want this to escalate.
"Well I'm not just going to let it go so.." I say slowly. "Whatever bruh." He shakes his head and starts the car.
I actually hate when he calls me that but I'll just shut up. "Fucking killed the vibe for no reason." He mumbled.
"Shut up Ezra. Let it go." I roll my eyes now fed up with his constant complains about me. "Don't fucking tell me to shut up." He throws his hand up and slaps the wheel aggressively.
"Don't get me started on the way you talk to me." I roll my eyes again because that's all this man makes me do.
"I apologised though so stop bringing that shit back up." He says it like I'm the weird one. "You can't call me a bitch, apologise and then do it again." I'm really trying to compose myself because he's literally in control of our lifes right now.
"Man stop bugging me 'fore I crash this bitch." He speaks. "I'm so tired of your bullshit." I cross my arms over my chest and turn to the window on my side.
The rest of the drive is silent. The mood is dead and there are no voices until we finally arrive and are greeted at the front desk.
Ezra does the talking considering he called and booked the hotel his coach told them about. I just stand by his side with my bags and wait until he gets the card to our room.
