When Selina arrived in Fort Henry Heights, she prepared herself for the attack on her father because she sensed that he was coming today. She leaned heavily armed against a thick tree. She waits there until her father comes. When she briefly dozed off she heard squealing tires which woke her up. She stood on guard and took a closer look at the car. When she saw that her father get out of it, she tensed briefly. He came slowly towards her and Selina didn't know whether she would dare to take a few steps towards him. When they stood in front of each other, the two stared at each other for a while. "I see you've found me. Do you want to kidnap me again?" she asked him defiantly. "I had some help from your friend." he grinned disgustingly. Selina was somehow glad that Lorenzo was the one who delivered the message.
"Anyways, I don't want to go with you!" She said as she then pulled a knife out of her sleeve and tried to stab him with it. However, he was able to defend it quite easily. "You have a nice pocket knife. You'll have to remember me later that I have to buy you a much better one!" He said and knocked the knife out of her hand. "Good thing I don't want it." She said as she pulled another knife out of her left sleeve and stood in defense. Fernando knew that his daughter had equipped herself well with weapons and would only go with him if she lost. He grinned and took a step closer to her. She then tried to hit him on the shoulder with stabbing movements forward. However, her father was also able to avoid this. After a while she became more frustrated that he had so much experience than her and threw the knife in his direction as a distraction so that she then took a pistol from the thigh holder. She then aimed and fired. You could hear the shot sound in the forest.
She hit her father on the right shoulder, but that didn't stop him from moving towards her so he can attack her. He was able to kick the gun in her hand away, which surprised Selina. She was so distracted by the surprise and didn't notice that her father started to swing and then hit her in the stomach with his fist. She briefly doubled over in pain and stumbled back a little. "Don't say that this light blow threw you off track!" he challenges her. She stands up again and runs towards him. She jumped at him with a kick and hit him in the face. Then she hit him and got a new knife that was on the other side of her gun on her thigh. She then stabbed him and was able to injure him somewhat.
"Tell me why do you want me in your mafia so badly?" She asked him as she took a few steps back. Fernando was breathing heavily and holding his right shoulder. "If you were in the mafia then I would have made you the next leader. You would then be the first female Mexican mafia boss in Mexican history." he strutted as he took slow steps towards her. "Then why didn't mother take on the role?" She asked curiously as she ran towards him again and hit him on the other shoulder with her knife. "Your mother wouldn't have been able to do that!" he groaned in pain and pushed his daughter away from him. He pulled the knife out from his shoulder and held it in his hand. "You have a lot of weapons on you!" He said slithly annoyed as he rushed towards her and inflicted a stab wound on her arm. This time Selina groaned in pain.
"Still, how did you know I would ever be the kind of person to join a mafia?" She asked and pulled out another gun from her other thigh holder and held the gun to her father's head. Selina looked at her father with tears in her eyes. "Since I have already raised you so that one day you will be my successor!" he whispers with all emotion. Selina then pushed him away and held onto her injured arm. "Convince me! Convince me to take over the Mexican Mafia!" she shouted at him, trying not to burst into tears straight away. "I'll give you complete power in the mafia! You can do whatever you want with it. You can convince the old men who are now the bosses that their sons will finally come to power so you can talk with them because the old men wouldn't listen to you. Also so many people will admire you because of that. No woman has ever led a mafia and you would be very respected. Is that enough to convince you?" he said and took a few steps towards her.
"Isn't something more happening? Don't I have to kill you to get to the top?" She asked, pointing her gun at him. "It doesn't always have to be that way. But you want to kill me, right?" he questioned and you could hear the disappointment in his voice. "Let's assume that I want to. Would I get a much better reputation then?" She asked as she came closer to him this time so that the gun touched his head. "Of course. It's always like that, but it doesn't have to be that way." he said. "Give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now?" she asked, pressing her gun to his head. "I could show you how things normally work in a mafia. Let's say I give you a two-year period where I teach you everything and then you can kill me after two years, how would that be?" he offers her. "Am I going to be the boss right now or after I kill you?" Selina wants to know if it's worth taking over the mafia. Fernando thought for a moment and answered her, "You'll be the boss right now and I'll teach you in two years. After that, when you've killed me, you can do whatever you want with the mafia!"
Selina took a moment to think about it. "Ok I do it." She finally gave the answer her father wanted to hear. She grabbed her gun back and stared at her injured father. "Do I have to help you into the car now or can you do it by yourself?" She asked with some irony in her voice. "You could walk me to the car or you could drive me to Toronto?" he suggested to her. She then pushed him towards the car. "Come on, I think we need to get some father-daughter time, don't you think so?" She asked him and opened the passenger door. "Think so." he said.
Selina then got behind the wheel and was shocked when she saw Lorenzo and his father in the rearview mirror. "What are you doing here?" she asked them confused. He shrugged his shoulders. "Fernando said we should accompany him." Dante said, signaling that he would drive instead of her. The two changed places so that Selina was now sitting next to Lorenzo. "Are you all right?" he asked her. "Yes, everything's fine. It's nothing bad." She said and leaned a little closer to him. She was happy that she saw Lorenzo again so early and that she could build a relationship with her father.
