Lili Skywalker stood by her window, watching what she could of the battle below. The rebel ship didn't stand a chance. Her father was in a very bad mood - the rebels had stolen the plans for his Death Star. He'd not spoken to her all day, but she'd seen the bodies of two men in the passages, not a mark on either.
Over six years had passed since Darth Vader had first found the girl. Since she'd first joined him, she'd become quite skilled in the use of the light-saber, and the Force. She'd learned to control her thoughts and emotions, and how to make even her father believe whatever she wanted. She had ways of learning things, and she managed to stay informed of the rebellion - as much as the imperial army knew. She was in a position to help whichever side she chose - and she had chosen. How else do you think the rebels got their hands on the Death Star plans?
Lili watched with tight lips as her father boarded the rebel ship. She felt sorry for the people on board. Not many would make it out alive, she was certain.
Darth Vader waited impatiently for the clones to bring him a prisoner, any prisoner. He would most likely be killed if he did not soon get those plans back. His daughter had helped him find the traitor that had helped the rebel spy - on board the Death Star herself. The man was put to death, but too late. The plans were long lost.
He'd then spent days searching for the plans, and finally found a counselor ship, claiming to be on a diplomatic mission, which had received several transmissions that he knew must be from the rebels. His men had spent hours attacking the ship, and now it was theirs. There was just one little problem - the plans were nowhere to be found.
The clones had killed many men with their guns, and Vader himself had put to death one man that had been of no help. The ship was being searched from top to bottom, and the clones had orders to bring any prisoner they found - alive. Still there was no sign of the plans.
Suddenly he heard the storm troopers' footsteps approaching. He went out into the passage, thinking they'd better have a prisoner with them.
"Darth Vader. Only you cold be so bold. The imperial senate will not sit still for this! When they hear you've attacked a diplomatic -"
"Don't act so surprised, your highness," replied Darth Vader, rage pounding through his body. "You weren't on any mercy mission this time. Several transmissions were beamed to this ship by rebel spies. I want to know what happened to the plans they sent you."
"I don't know what you're talking about," insisted Princess Leia."I'm a member of the Imperial Senate on a diplomatic mission to Alderan."
"You are part of the rebel alliance and a traitor! Take her away!" he shouted, no longer able to control his temper.
The clones marched off with Leia between them.
"Holding her is dangerous!" cautioned one of Vader's men. "If word of this gets out, it could genarate sympathy for the rebels and the Senate."
"I have traced the rebel spies to her. Now, she is my only link to finding their secret base."
"Leave that to me," replied Darth Vader.
Lili watched from above as four storm troopers led a young, dark-haired woman from the ship. The lady was quite beautiful, and carried herself with a regal air. She looked to be about the same age as Lili, and her head turned neither right or left as she walked between the clones. Darth Vader's daughter found herself curious about the strange woman.
While her father was in a meeting of sorts - Lili hadn't cared to learn what about - she slipped silently down to the detention level and into the cell she'd watched them lead the woman into.
