Fukuzawa POV

It was just like any other day but today Mori seemed so out of place. I gave him sometime to come to me if he needed something but he kept avoiding me.

I was weirded out and had enough of that by now. So I confronted him in our room. He just brushed everything off and rushed past me.

He made it to the living room and I ran after him also but he had already stepped out the door. That was weird. why is he avoiding me?, what have I done to deserve such treatment?.

I'm not going to lie, seeing him act this way towards me hurt so much but I really wished and hoped that mori was just being dramatic.

Mori's POV

I can't allow fuku figure out what I have done. If he knows we might get a divorce and I don't want to lose him.

I drove to a secluded cabin in the woods. I rushed into the cabin, I gave a little tap to the door and chuuya opened the door for me to enter.

I walked over to the two people I had abducted yosano and surprisingly ranpo. Yosano's job here was to heal my men, while ranpo was kidnapped so he wouldn't rat us out.

"You know what will happen, if your partners find out about this right?". "Shut it ranpo we've heard enough of this nonsense". Chuuya said with a hint of irritation.

"The more reason we need your cooperation. So we can ensure everyones safety". I said with a little bit of urgency. I turned to yosano and looked her in the eye. "Yosano you might be the first person I would say this to but I really need you to help with this mission".

Everyone was a bit stunned except that little shit ranpo of course. Well I really didn't care how they saw me, what occupied my mind right now was getting the drugs which was being smuggled into Yokohama out.

If the drug successful lands here, I can't imagine the kind of suffering some family were about to encounter.
The drug slowly kills those that are gifted, while people who aren't gifted become addicts and we all know how junkies end up.

Yosano gave me a knowing look before she asked the question we have all being waiting for. "How many?". "29 gifted and 1 non gifted".

The room became silent, chuuya left to attend to said matter. While I freed yosano so she could do her thing. I sat down on a small chair and was trapped in my thoughts until I heard ranpo's voice.

" Mori, why don't you just ask for help from the ADA hmmm?". "Does all this compare to the pride of a man". Ranpo said with a lot of seriousness.

"Ranpo we all know, you shouldn't be lecturing me about pride. Plus I have this under control but I will ask for help if things go south".

The room was filled with silence, a very uncomfortable one. I got up to get the reports on things and when I got back. I heard ranpo say "duck". I looked back and realized what he meant.

I immediately bent over and a shot was fired. Shit we have a rat with us.
I got up and freed ranpo, I checked if he was okay and he was. Thank God I wouldn't have forgiven myself if something happened to him.

I looked at him and asked "dear can you tell me who betrayed me". I showed him the reports I had and he took a short time going through it.

"His dead, your people got to him". I was relieved but it looked like ranpo wasn't done talking and I urged him to continue.

"The first batch of the drug is in Yokohama but the rest are still on hold due to your intervention". My blood ran cold "where is the batch now?"." It's right in front of a port controlled by the mafia" he gave me a wicked grin.

I too smiled and pulled out my phone and called akutagawa. On the first dial he answered. "Aku I need you to destroy something for me and please do endeavor to give our guests the best of the best. Make sure not to get any of those toxins on you okay?".

"Right away sir" he ended the call. I called for chuuya and yosano. "Change of plans, we are going abroad but first we need to take a little detour".

After two hours we had reached the location of the other trucks. "Chuuya I think you know what you have to do". He smiled and walked off in the direction of the semi looking industry.

Later on we heard how a commotion was created and several bone shattering screams of terror. I looked at the ADA members and they had no look of pity in their eyes what so ever.

After we were done we headed for the airport. I had asked koyou to accompany us. Immediately she arrived she hit me hard on the shoulder, shoved me and went straight to her wife.

Ouch, I rubbed my shoulder. We boarded the airplane and we were off.
We arrived in the US at 10pm. A car was waiting for us and we all entered and drove to the headquarters of the drug facility.

"Me and ranpo will go get the documents about the drug and the company producing it. Yosano and koyou are going to follow us and silence the main directors who are around. Chuuya we will give a signal and you will blow up the institute okay".

I looked around and everyone nodded. We all carried out our parts and regrouped in another car I had assigned. Chuuya pushed the button and everything went to flames even the car we had brought before lit up like a touch.

We all gave each other looks before sighing. I had made reservations for us at a nice hotel and had left the kids under the supervision of koyou.

I had work to do. We had killed all members of the board except the founding father of the bitch drug.
I had one last pill of that shit and had decided the father of it should have a taste.

I got in his house quite easily. I guess the sleeping gas work well for his guards. I walked around the house and found his bedroom.

I entered and there he was sitting down having a glass of wine. He hadn't noticed me yet. I walked over and dropped the pill into his wine.

He had another big gulp before he turned to me. "Thank you mori but the drug was supposed to help the gifted not kill them".

"Well it has been a long time, you look well Mr andre". Just when he smiled blood oozed out of his mouth. I walked away. Left the house and got into the car waiting for me, shortly after a loud boom was heard and in the distance you could see fire trucks heading towards the house.

I got back to the hotel and found ranpo on my bed. "Ummm what are you doing here". He didn't answer me he just covered himself with the blanket.

I changed into more comfortable clothes and joined him in bed and 20 minutes later he wrapped his hands around my waist.

Well he is a little child in a man's body. He looked up to me and said something I only expected from fukuzawa since he is the only person on this planet who would ask if I was okay.

I looked at ranpo shocked but he looked up at me tiredly. " Well little one I'm alright and I think it's time you go to bed". I patted his head and after a while he fell asleep.

I couldn't help but feel a little happy.
I can't wait to see fukuzawa again with that thought I went to sleep.
