Ringing could be heard in the room followed by a grunt. The ringing continued for a while. "Stop ~mmmmm~"."answer the phone first it could be important".

"It's not important, you are what matters right now". "~Hic~ okay ".

Mori's POV
"Why the hell is akutagawa not answering his phone". "What could be so important right now, I don't remember giving him any tasks".

"Ahhhhhhhh" I sighed and looked at the sleeping ranpo on the couch. It's been two days and the ability user who did this to him hasn't been found yet. I need to conduct a search myself but I don't feel comfortable leaving him alone by himself.

I dialed chuuya's number. It rang twice before it was finally picked up.
"Chuuya I need to come watch over Ranpo". "Ew disgusting, hey chuuya your asshole of a boss is on the phone".

"Dazai why the f*ck are you with chuuya's phone". "Last time I checked he is my lover so that doesn't concern you". "Dazai wtf are you doing give me back my phone. Yes what do you need boss".

"You know what forget it. If that maniac is with you my kid isn't going to be safe at all. I cut the call and released a sigh filled with frustration.

Fuku's POV

For the past two days I have spent all my time looking for the person that afflicted ranpo. Not because I'm looking for justice but because I know I won't be able to bear this any longer.

He doesn't allow me spend quality time with mori, he doesn't allow me touch him. Heck, getting 2 meters close to him will release a window shattering scream from Ranpo.

I had a few leads but almost all where about drug trafficking and kidnappers here and there. I took care of all but I was really hoping one would be able to end my misery.

I was on my last bet and let's just say what I found wasn't pretty. When I had asked kunikida to ask katai for help on the issue. I wasn't expecting them to bring a case which goes 5 years back.

Some sickos turned adults into kids and sold them to rich people who were unable to have kids and the ability was permanent on the person until the ability user is killed.

Well this goes against his beliefs but this was the only way to make ranpo normal and have mori back in his arms.

He went back home with hope in his heart and his mood seemed brighter.
When he entered his home he was shocked to see the living room in shambles and mori in the center of it all.

He rushed to mori's side and he saw the most distant look he had ever saw in anyone.

Mori's POV

Me and my baby arrived at a small ice cream parlor and got two vanilla Ice cream to go. Later on my baby had finished his so I gave him mine since I didn't really feel like having any.

He gave me a warm smile that left my heart pumping blood faster. We went back home and I had my way upstairs. I was surprised fuku wasn't home yet but payed no mind to it.

I left him on me and fuku's bed to go have a shower. When I finished he wasn't there anymore and I got worried. I called out to him and he didn't answer, I searched the whole house and I didn't find him.

I became paranoid, I destroyed half of the house and nothing could change the pain, despair and fear I felt. Just when I was about to break down fuku arrived.

He ran to me and I looked up to him. He stared at me for awhile before hugging me. I couldn't hold the tears anymore so I let them fall.

He seemed to understand the situation to quickly and asked him what he had found out about the ability users who did this.
