Mori's POV

I was in my office, when a child barged in. I was greatly confused. I really hoped chuuya hadn't sheltered another orphan in the pm because really this was no place for children.

I was about to call him to come pick up the kid. When the child suddenly clung onto my leg. I got up trying to shake the child but he wouldn't budge.

"Mama ~", I gave the child a hysterical look before picking the child up and he seemed very happy to be carried by me.

On close inspection I realized "Ranpo wtf happened to you?. Shit I have to take you to fukuzawa". He gave me a kiss on my cheek and said "I'm fine being with mama, Dada will be alright on his own". He then proceeded to give me a goofy smile.

My heart melted and I decided to spoil the child. I called for Gin and higuchi.
They both entered the office and were surprised to see a male child with me. I only scoffed and ordered them to get some necessities for my baby and maybe some candy............

Okay fine a whole lot of candy and toys. I cancelled all my meetings for the day and thank goodness they weren't that serious.

I spent the rest of the afternoon playing and feeding Ranpo. Around 4 my baby fell asleep. I decided to lay him down on the blankets I had set up on the couch and covered him with the remaining.

I finished up on some things and checked the time. It was like 6:30.
I checked on ranpo and strangely his eyes were open when he noticed me, he made grabby hands towards me and I gladly accepted them but not after battling not to faint from the cuteness overload.

When I carried him, he grabbed my neck and I heard light sniffles. I immediately gave some distance between him and me to see what happened.

This was the most heart breaking thing I had ever seen. My baby had tears coming out of his eyes. I felt like crying too but mori remember who is in need of who here.

"Baby what happened?". "I don't like being so far away from mama". "Don't worry I am right here love. It won't ever happen again, now there there.

I carried little ranpo to the car and saw atsushi and akutagawa heading home together. Atsushi noticed me and waved then he suddenly dropped his hand when he realized who I was carrying.

He ran over and stared at ranpo in disbelief." Omg Ranpo we have been looking for you everywhere". "What happened to you?". He tried to touch ranpo but he only latched onto my body more.

"Mama protect me". Atsushi gave me a confused look but I only sighed before telling him to leave Ranpo alone. Akutagawa came over and completely ignored me and ranpo's existence.

"Atsu we should head back it's getting late". Atsushi bid us farewell and surprisingly ranpo gave him a little wave. Bipolar much, I thought.

We headed home as well. Immediately I opened the door, ranpo flew inside and Fukuzawa was at the sitting room waiting for me.

Fuku's POV

I heard the front door open and heard a child's little footsteps. It happened so fast but a child zoomed past me. I was only able to make out a blur.

I walked over to mori and helped him remove his coat. He released a sigh before going to our room. "Please keep an eye on him plus could you get my bag".

I got his bag, and dropped it in our room,he was still showering. I went back to living room and from there conducted my search for the little boy and found him in the guest room bed with a book and pen.

I went over to him and picked him up to see his face properly. My heart pace quickened "Ranpo what happened to you?". He used his small hands to pinch my cheeks. Then something happened that left me embarrassed.

Little Ranpo had bitten one of my cheeks and I screamed with pain.
I heard thunderous footsteps and mori appeared at the door and rushed in to carry Ranpo.

I felt betrayed as he scanned ranpo for any injuries after he was done he told me to head downstairs for dinner. After that he left with ranpo. That little boy wore a smirk and showed his tongue to me before the door closed.

I need to find a way to cure that baby. I mean ranpo ( I can't even tell the difference). I went downstairs and found them having dinner without me. I sat with a hmph and made the most sour face ever.

Mori noticed and sighed. "Fuku dear I'm sorry we didn't wait for you but ranpo got hungry and you were surely taking your precious time". He said with a hint of sarcasm.

"And besides would you keep my baby this cute waiting". With that being said he tickled ranpo and they both laughed. It would have been a wonderful sight to behold if not for the triumphant look on ranpo's face.

Mori's POV

I took ranpo to the guest room and laid down with him until he fell asleep.
I made my way back to me and fuku's room. He was still up, he was reading a book. So I decided to sleep early. Today has been so eventful, I was about to lay down but I was placed gently on fuku's lap.

He removed his glasses, closed his book and faced me. I could tell where this was headed but before he could even kiss me the door flew open and I immediately got oof fuku's lap.

I made my way to an angry ranpo. Who puffed his cheeks and pouted, I couldn't say no to a face like that so I lifted him up and made my way to the bed just to see fuku carry his book and slam it on the bed.

I let out a laugh before telling him to quite down so my baby could sleep.
I placed him in the center and slept beside him.

Fuku's POV

Why? Why? Why? Why? WHY?.Is this
happening to me. I need to find a solution to this nonsense before I go insane. I got in the bed too and made myself comfortable only to see ranpo on me.

I wanted nothing more than to push him but he was still a child so that could be illegal to hurt a kid?.
He showed me his book from before but when did he even bring it in.
On the page one, could see in bold letters. Stay Away From Mama Or Else.

Who was he to try and threaten me.
After that a tiny hand left a sting on my face. Had this baby just slapped me.
Before I could register anything he let out a scream and placed my hand on him.

Mori woke up and his eyes look bloodshot. He pushed me off the bed and threw a pillow at my face and kicked me out. " Mori his trying to frame me.......". "Save it fuku and please how do you expect my baby to be behind all this, you know the way out".

He locked the door in my face. I felt heart broken he believed the child over me. NGL it hurt as hell when I saw ranpo wave from behind the door. Shit I'm going to pay him back in tenfold.
