I bet you all thought I wouldn't post a chapter on New Years, but I did, I can't just stop for one holiday, I'm really passionate about this series, and letting myself have a break before the release of this book has let me write multiple chapters faster and kinda better.

Well I hope you all have a great year and I'll still be writing this series, I want this to be like One piece. Long, interconnected and interesting. And like the mangaka of One Piece, Oda, I want there to be some info from a long time ago to be relevant every once and a while. But enough of my rambling...

The next morning Matsu woke up to a message that weighed heavily on his heart. It was from Aerithorn City. The message informed him that Denali's condition had worsened, the young boy he had met not long ago, a fellow survivor of the Cleansing Infection. Denali was in dire need of treatment and guidance.

As he read the message, Matsu's mind raced. He couldn't bear to think of the suffering that Denali might be enduring, especially since he's experienced the Cleansing Infection himself. He knew how devastating and agonizing it could be.

Matsu quickly replied to the message, confirming that he would make his way to Aerithorn City as soon as possible. He understood the urgency of the situation and the need to help Denali in any way he could.

Terry and Jackie offered their support as well. "We'll take care of things here while you're away. Just make sure you come back safe," Terry said, his voice steady and reassuring.

Matsu was deeply touched by his friends' understanding and willingness to support him. He nodded in gratitude, his expression a mixture of appreciation and determination. "Thank you, everyone. I promise I'll do my best to help these kids and find a way to ease their suffering. I'll come back as soon as I can."
