Matsu took a deep breath and said, "this morning calie and marie weren't feeling well, we thought it was food poisoning but they told us that they went to the doctor and the doctor told them they don't have food poisoning. We don't know what's wrong but what's important is that they haven't been feeling well, and... they believe they might be pregnant" He paused for a moment as the room filled with hushed gasps and surprised looks. "They took a pregnancy test while we were all here."

He turned to Calie and Marie, who were still holding the test behind their backs. "So, what's the result?"

Calie and Marie finally revealed the pregnancy tests, and to everyone's surprise, both tests displayed a negative result. There was a collective sigh of relief in the room. Calie and Marie's moms looked relieved, while Calie's dad was fuming.

Calie's dad turned to Matsu, his face red with anger. "You had the audacity to put my daughter and my niece through this?" he bellowed.

Marie's dad, on the other hand, tried to calm him down. "Let's not make a scene, please." Matsu's friends had mixed reactions. Some of them looked relieved, while others were a bit disappointed. They had been supportive of Calie and Marie and would have been there for them no matter the outcome.

Matsu, however, didn't let the tension linger. He spoke up, "I apologize for any distress this may have caused, but we needed to be sure. I love Calie and Marie, and I wanted to make sure we were prepared for whatever might come our way."

Calie and Marie's parents continued to exchange heated words while Matsu stood his ground, knowing that he had made the right decision, regardless of the turmoil it had caused.

Calie's dad, still seething with anger, grabbed Matsu by the shirt and demanded, "When did you have time to do this to my daughter and niece?"

Matsu, surprisingly calm, looked at him and chuckled. "You know, I always said we loved each other. They were the ones who asked me to do it the first time, they are older than me, they wanted to do it."

The tension in the room was palpable as the two men locked eyes, their conflicting emotions evident to everyone present. Calie and Marie's dads had to come to terms with the fact that their daughters were no longer children and were making choices for their own lives. Matsu had taken a bold step to protect his growing family, and the confrontation had certainly shaken things up, but in the end, it seemed that love and understanding might prevail.

Then Marie's dad calmed down his brother and made him let go of Matsu. Calie and Marie stepped in, both of them looking a bit sheepish but resolute. Calie said, "Dad, we asked Matsu to do it with us, he never asked us (she knew that was a lie but they did consent to it). We're certain about our future. It wasn't just his idea; it was ours too."

Marie's dad, after taking a moment to process this, started to calm down. He realized that his daughter and niece were making their own choices and decisions about their lives, even if it meant becoming parents themselves.

Their friends chimed in, backing up the two girls. "It's true," Angelo said, "When Calie and Marie told us about the potential pregnancy, Matsu made it clear that it was their idea, they took the initiative and Calie and Marie agreed."

The room seemed to breathe a collective sigh of relief as the tension began to dissipate. Calie, Marie, and Matsu's friends had spoken up in their defense, and it appeared that their parents were starting to understand the gravity of the situation and the autonomy their daughters were exercising.

Matsu spoke with a calm and measured tone, "Look, we understand your concerns, but you have to know that I love your daughters, and they love me. We have a future together, and one day I'll be your son-in-law. We all want to get along for Calie and Marie's sake. But if you keep opposing our relationship, it could strain the family bonds. None of us want that, right?"
