The Beta Ch. 1

disclaimer: I'm not the owner of teen wolf and I do not own any of the characters except Sophie and Camryn. The lykaon and the accaila are my characters too, feel free to use them, just give me credit! The story line is not gonna be exactly like the original teen wolf, I'm going to twist it up a bit. They're will be spelling errors, but after I finish this book I will go back and correct them all. they will be small, but understandable...I'll try my best not to let them happen. Keep reading:)

Liam's POV:

"this isn't the time to add another Beta to the pack. especially a girl." I whined.

"Would you shut up and quit complaining? we're always in need of more pack members." Malia snapped.

"well..."

I heard a low growl come from Malia, signaling me to shut up. I groaned and walked over to the window, staring out it blankly.

"straighten up your attitude before I rip your throat out...with my teeth." Derek threatened.

"We don't need another beta!" I continued, furiously throwing my hands into the air.

Within a matter of seconds Derek's hand was around my neck pinning me to the wall. My feet dangled as I tried to get free. He finally dropped me when the door entering the loft opened. Stiles, Derek, Malia, Kira and Lydia all lined up waiting to see the new pack member. I however stayed over by the window.

I watched as Scott came in, and then followed a young girl. From what I saw, she had long blonde hair that parted to the left. Her eyes were a deep blue, and her smile was soft and innocent.

"Liam! over here now!" Scott called, his voice agitated.

I rolled my eyes and slowly made my way over to the rest of the pack.

Sophie's POV:

"don't be nervous, you'll be fine." Scott assured as we made our way down a long hallway.

"So where is this place?" I asked shyly.

"oh this is Derek's loft. This is were the pack stays." He said with a smile.

Within a couple minutes of walking we approached a door. He pulled a handle and slid it open. we both walked in, and I could tell that they knew I was a nervous wreck.

Even tho I'm not trained well enough, I could still pick out the smell of anger and frustration, and soon I got the feeling that someone didn't want me here.

"Sophie, this is Malia, Kira, Derek, stiles, Liam, and Lydia. guys this is Sophie, our new pack member." Scott said pulling me in for a side hug.

They all smiled and waved except for Liam. Well, Now I knew who it was.

"Oh my gosh your just so small all I wanna do is hug the crap outta you!" Malia wrapped her arms around me giving me a tight hug. This actually felt like home.

After all of us knew each other thoroughly, Scott decided that it would be a good idea if the pack knew what had happened to me.

"okay so, when I was little my dad took my brother and left me and my mom. I don't know what my brother looks like, I've never learned his name because my mom would never speak of it, and I don't even know where he is now. So my mom raised me till I was six. She died instantly one night when some animal ran out in front of our car, and we were out in the middle of no where, surrounded by thick forested areas. I sat there and shook her, crying over her dead body trying to wake her up, but I got no response. This man finally approached me, took my hand, and lead me into the forest. For some reason I put my trust in him, I was only six at the time and I was scared. He explained to me what had happened to my mother, and how I would never see her again. kinda like Bambi . The man that took me in was a werewolf, and he kinda was like a guardian to me. I stayed with him even tho he was always gone, he took care of me, fed me, and kept me safe. I looked up to him as if he was my dad. Years and years passed of hiding in the woods with him. Finally, a couple days ago when he was still alive, he took me with him on a hunt. He had trained me for this my whole life. the night we went out, He was shot by a silver arrow. hunters had followed us. I had hid until they went away, and then I went to his side. He told me that he had to bite me or I wouldn't survive, I'd always knew what would happen, but I'd never seen him morph because he was never a werewolf around me. When he bit me it hurt so bad I just had to scream, but I knew i couldn't leave him. the only person I'd ever had as a dad died in my arms. When Scott found me I was a omega, I didn't have a pack. I was scared, alone, and morphing...fast. I explained to Scott what had happened, and he bit me again, signaling that I belonged to him. so now I'm a werewolf." I said with a shy smile.

"the poor thing." Lydia spoke with sympathy. Everyone else nodded in agreement. Liam had went off somewhere before I could finish my story and I had no clue where he was.

"Your training begins tomorrow, so be here by 3:00, right after school. Liam will help you with your classes and Derek will train you." Scott informed. I looked at Derek and he nodded confirming it.

"Liam!" Scott scowled.

"what?" Liam groaned as he made his way into the main room.

"Stay with Sophie. Your gonna be helping her at school tomorrow, and if I find out that you didn't help, I won't have Derek wring your neck, I'll do it myself." Scott threatened whispering in Liam's ear. Liam nodded and rolled his eyes approaching me.

"let's go."

Liam's POV:

Now that I had gotten closer, i could see Sophie better. She was wearing black leggings, a loose white tank top, and dark brown combat boots. Over her white tank top was a original red flannel that was kinda big. Her light blonde hair was parted to the left , and it hung down past her shoulders.

dang, she's pretty cute...I thought. Don't show it , you can't have feelings for each other.

She followed me out of the loft to the parking lot. "okay, you'll be staying with Malia and stiles tonight." I pointed over to where they stood. "in the morning you have school, and don't worry Scott's already got all the crap you need. Just find me tomorrow and I guess ill help you." I said rudely. Her heart was beating fast, and she smelled anxious. She was scared...

"you'll be fine." I assured. "Now go."

I watched as she made her way over to stiles and Malia .

"so how do you like our new Beta," Scott asked placing his hand on my shoulder.

"I don't." I spoke turning away from him.

"I'm your ride home soooo...." Scott added as I walked away. I stopped sighed, and turned back. "Liam I could hear your heart beat all the way from the loft. It was faster than normal." Scott smiled.

I shook my head frustrated. "no I don't like her, can you just drive me home already?!"

"Liam, wether you like it or not, your gonna have to learn to like her. We're all a family here, me, you, Derek, Malia, stiles, Lydia, and Sophie. We need to have each other's back and be willing to fight for each other. That is what makes a pack stronger, that's what will make us stronger. you have to love her like a sister, because she is your sister now."
