Ch.5

Sophie's POV:

I concentrated silently on his heart beat as it rose in terror. It only took a matter of seconds until my front teeth dug deep into his side.

I continued to devour his liver as he let a out a terrible screech. His bones snapped in my jaws as I gnawed on them like they were chicken legs.

"Someone please! help me!" He screamed in terror.

I stood up and licked my lips, my white fur now stained dark red. The blood lust I was feeling continued to rise as I watched the guy I had just practically eaten try to crawl away. I wasn't finished yet.

I gasped for air as I sat up, breathing heavily.

"Sophie?!" Liam abruptly awoke. He woke up the same way I did, gasping for air.

"Liam, I'm fine I'm sorry I woke you up. It was just a bad dream." I spoke, placing my hand on my forehead that was burning up. I noticed I had no clothes on again so I wrapped my blanket around me and went into the bath room with my bag. Thank God Lydia had put all my clothes back in my purse.

i slipped back on my bra, t-shirt, underwear, and shorts. I came back out and sat down where I had been.

"bad dream?" he questioned, crawling to the end of the bed and peeking his head over .

I nodded, and so did he.

"yeah I get those too, you mind talking about what happened?" he asked.

"well I can't really remember much." I said climbing up to the empty space next to him. "I do remember eating some guy like he was a steak dinner. when I looked down my fur was stained with blood. Right before I woke up, I went for him again." I said curling my knees up to my chest.

"your scared about killing people...aren't you?" It was like he read my mind or something...even though he could probably smell it on me.

I just nodded and put my forehead on my knee caps. Suddenly I felt a arm wrap around my back and pull me in. I smiled as untucked my knees and leaned into his chest.

"I was scared about that too, but I haven't killed anybody. Yet at least." He laughed.

"yeah, you're right. Maybe I shouldn't be such a girl and stress over things." I said with a sigh.

"well, it's a person...and you're killing them. I was worried too. The fact of killing in general just scares me...still does. Any of us could loose control one day." His arm loosened, which made me lean out.

"yeah..is today Saturday?" I really did not want to go to school.

"yeah...I don't know why they'd have the first day of school on a Friday but they did." He said with a laugh and he fell back onto the bed.

"true tho. Okay I'm going back to sleep, goodnight." I said as laid back down onto the ground.

a couple seconds passed and Liam's voice spoke again.

"I totally forgot you're not a dog anymore, here you come sleep on the bed and I'll sleep on the floor." I stood up along with Liam and watched as he ventured over to the spot where I laid before.

"orrrr you could just sleep up here with me?" I suggested with a smile. "we'll just have to out a pillow between us or something."

Liam turned and looked at me with a little smirk on his face and nodded, "that'd be fine."

He laid down beside me and stuffed a pillow right between us, like I had said before.

He faced one way and I faced the other.
