Mika sluggishly crawled out of the luxurious hotel bed, feeling an internal struggle between the desire to stay snuggled up and the anticipation of the day ahead. Her sleepy eyes squinted against the morning light as she headed to the bathroom, leaving the door unlocked, in case Maya woke up while she was taking a shower.

Taking a brisk yet calming shower, Mika stepped out and reached for a towel to dry off. As she entered the hotel room, Maya, who was already at the bathroom mirror applying makeup, greeted her with a quick "good morning." With her outfit in mind, Mika grabbed her clothes and playfully called out, "Please don't come in, I'm changing!" She swiftly dressed and joined Maya in the bathroom, where they shared the double-sinked counter.

Mika retrieved her makeup bag and began applying it, while Maya, curling her hair, asked, "Do you know our plans for today?" Mika replied as she applied lip gloss, "Yuki recommended this adorable cafe with an amazing breakfast, so that's our first stop."

After making sure they had everything they needed, they stepped out, eager to seize their only free day in Monaco. Walking towards the elevator, Mika checked her phone for the time – 8:32. They were on track to make the most of their day.

As the elevator chimed on the main floor, they hurriedly exited to avoid holding up others. Passing by the breakfast lounge, Mika, engrossed in her phone, accidentally collided with a stranger. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking," she said, hastily picking up her phone without glancing at the person she had bumped into.

"It's all good; I was in a hurry too. My apologies," a man replied. Mika finally looked up and saw a curly-haired man in orange McLaren gear. Maya found the situation amusing and texted their friends about it.

As they exchanged words, the man recognized Mika. "Wait, I think I know you. You're Yuki's cousin, right?" Mika confirmed, "Yes, that's me. We were just on our way to breakfast." She gestured toward Maya.

"Oh, that's cool. Well, I won't keep you. I saw your post about your new song, and I loved it," he complimented her. "Thank you. Will we see you around this weekend?" Mika asked. "Absolutely, I'll make sure of it," he assured. "And what's your name so I won't forget?" Mika inquired. "Lando," he quickly replied. "Well, I'll catch you later, Lando," Mika said with a smile as she walked away. "You too," Lando responded.
