When Valeria entered the Great Hall the very next morning, alone instead of with Mattheo, the golden trio were both confused and concerned. Especially when she approached their table.

"Hey, um... can I sit with you guys?"

"Of course!" Hermione was quick to perk up and make room for Val next to her. Harry eyed her as she sat down. She seemed upset, but he knew she wasn't the type to openly talk about personal stuff.

Enough was obvious, though. Her and Mattheo must have had a fight.

"Hey, we're going to Hogsmeade today. Would you wanna come with us?"

"Hogsmeade?" Valeria looked puzzled. "I've... never been."

"Well, we'll be happy to come with you on your first trip!"

"Eat up, we'll head to the train after breakfast."

Valeria ate some scrambled eggs and jellied toast, then joined the trio to the train. A small smile spread across her face seeing the majestic machine. Such a beautiful shade of red, she thought.

The three stepped onto the train and Harry offered Val a hand to help her inside. Walking down the train corridor, she spotted Penny and smiled and waved.

"You can go and sit with her if you'd like, just wait for us on the platform if you get off first so we can explore together," Hermione offered as the boys filed into a booth.

Val shook her head and smiled at Hermione. "It's okay. She's my roommate. I see her all the time."

"Fair enough," Hermione led her into the booth and slid the door shut seeing as it was full with the four of them in it.

"So, I just want to ask. You don't have to answer..." Harry started, pausing when Val sighed a little and looked down at her Converse.

"What happened with Mattheo?" Val asked him, causing him to not. Hermione and Ron exchanged a concerned glance when Val's entire mood shifted, creating tension in the small booth. "It wasn't his fault."
