"I have just the perfect purse to go with that!" I smirk and she squeals in excitement.

"You always do and that's why I love you!" She says before I disappear into the back to find that purse.

That's Hannah. A regular spender here at LV. Her father is some big shot millionaire so she's always shopping and well me ? I help her spend.

"Found it" I hand her our new pink scale upside down triangle purse that goes so well with the thigh high boot heels she picked out.

"Oh my goodness, this is perfect" I awes.

I internally roll my eyes. She thinks everything is perfect. So long as I pick it. To be fair it's my job to make people look and feel fabulous so I don't blame her. But it wouldn't hurt to hear an opinion besides "perfect" from time to time.

She always picks me as her personal shop assistant when she comes to our store and I'm not complaining since I get paid extra for this shit. She's asked me to quit and become her assistant this one time and I outright denied. Aside from the fact that I have no qualifications for such a position,  she's a bit of a pain even though I only spend a few hours with her when she comes. Now imagine a whole day? For 7 days? I don't care what the pay is - it's a no from me.

"I still don't understand why you're not working for me instead " she says sulking while grabbing her purse to look around for more stuff to add to her imaginary cart.

"Girl, I already told you. I'm too busy to be your assistant. And I already have plans of what I want to do with my life. I don't want to get comfortable with that kind of pay cheque." I say with a little smile.

"Yeah yeah, I get it. It doesn't hurt to try" she chuckles while grabbing another pair of heels.

"You already have those" I say grabbing them from her and putting them back. "Try these" I grab a different pair that just came in yesterday.

"Ohh! I think I'm gonna love those. Do they have them in other colours?" She asks already trying them on.

"Yes, we do. In emerald green and a neon colour" I say already making my way to the back to get the other colours.

I get back to her with the other colours and she signals for her bodyguard to grab her stuff.

"You'll run it on my tab then darling" she says and she comes to give me a hug goodbye.

We're already used to her and I know when she's buying something. I already ran her tab and confirmed all payments before giving her the other colours so she's good to go. I don't want any mistakes with tabs declining.

"Okay, it's always a pleasure seeing you. Enjoy your day." I say returning the hug with a smile of my own knowing I'll be getting a generous tip from her father.

Apparently she's told her father about me and how well I treat her when she shops here so her father always makes sure to tip me extra and supports the store by sending us more customers etc.

She makes her way out and I sigh. I'm so exhausted I could take a nap for a whole year.

"You truly work overtime" says Triny, my friend.

"I just need a bath and some shut eye" I yawn.

"Lisa, you're always over working yourself." She says before fixing my collar.

"Thanks and no, I need to work hard to pay my bills girl. I ain't got no sugar daddy to sponsor me" I say chuckling.

She rolls her eyes at me,"It's not like guys haven't been trying. You curve everyone."

"That's because none of them have been my time or have proven themselves to be really about me like that. I aint no quick shag and pass"

"But Lisa, you have to give love a chance. Not everyone will be like him. You have to learn to let go." She says with pleading eyes and a soft face.

She doesn't get it. It's not that easy to move on from someone that you thought you'd spend forever with. Only to find out that he's a piece of shit that didn't deserve a speck of your time and energy.

"You don't get it" I sigh in defeat.

"I'm sorry, I just want you to be happy and find love" she says.

Trinity was there for it all so I get where she's coming from. She saw me go through it and ate ice-cream with me when it went to shit. I get it, it was almost 3 years ago now. I NEED to move on but I'm not going to force it with someone I don't actually like.

"I know. I'm sorry, I know you want what's best for me. Ugh let's just drop this and maybe we can go out for dinner tonight?" I say with a big smile on my face.

That girl won't say no to dinner out. If anything, she's always tryna convince me of that shit.

"Bitch you already know I'm in!" She says swaying her hips and doing a twirl before dropping it down low.

"Okay , yasssss!" I say hyping her up then we both laugh.

I love it when we're just being happy and enjoying life. These men will really put you through the mud and make you forget about these moments when you're happy without them. Like who needs a man when you could just have a Trinity?

"Babe, you gon make work tomorrow or you no show up again?" She starts with her accent. I keep forgetting she's half Caribbean.

"Me done fir di week man" I attempt my best at her accent/language.

"Me no lie, you're getting kinda good" she says chuckling and giving me a wink before carrying on with work.
