Rhea's wish

Karina's Surgery

Since the surgery was In Orlando, everyone stayed at Rhea's house. Dom and Rhea shared a bed, obviously, Finn and Damian slept in one of the guest rooms, and Karina slept on a recliner so she could have her leg elevated at all times.
Her surgeon wanted her there for 6:30 so she would have time to prepare for surgery.
Rhea and Dom brought Karina to the surgery center, and Damian and Finn stayed at Rhea's to get Karina food and things to keep her occupied while she recovered.
They all checked in and she was brought back to change into a surgery gown and to get into bed. They set up her IV, and the nurses brought Rhea and Dom back with her. It was like they were her parents. She waited for about 20 minutes to be brought back into the OR.  She was nervous because it was the first time she's had a major surgery like this. But Rhea and Dom comforted her and let her know that everything would be alright.

"Don't worry Mija, we will all take great care of you. We have plenty of things to keep you occupied. Damian and Finn are out shopping right now to buy you some things." Said Dom

"Yeah, everything will go good for you. And I think you'll need physical therapy, and I have a great person for that. Her name is Lacey, and she helped me through my knee issues. She's literally the best" said Rhea

*knock knock*
"Hello Ms. Dumas, I'm your anesthesiologist, and I'll be putting you to sleep for your surgery today."

The anesthesiologist gave Karina a consent form and explained what she would be doing.
A short minute later, 2 people came in and did a nerve block on her ankle, and Rhea and Dom went to the waiting room.
They were given a number and were to watch on a tv screen to see where Karina was.
About an hour later, they were called back and Karina was sleeping in the recovery room.
Rhea was given instructions on medications and physical therapy, and Dom went outside to bring the car around.
The nurse wheeled Karina to the car and helped her in.
Karina luckily wasn't sick after she woke up, and wanted some food. So they stopped by McDonald's and got her a quick bite.

"Thank you guys. I really appreciate y'all taking care of me."

"No worries Karina, and I also have a blanket on the floorboard if you get cold." Said Rhea

They pulled into the driveway. Dom got out of the car and grabbed the crutches out of the trunk, and Rhea helped Karina out. Damian and Finn had an amazing assortment of goodies for Karina.
Her favorite snacks, drinks, games, and even a few Lego sets to build.

Dom helped her in while Rhea started to organize her medications so she would know when to give them to her.
Damian put on "Schitt's Creek" for Karina while she built a Lego set.
Finn cooked dinner that night. Hamburger Helper. It was one of Karina's comfort foods as a kid, so she was really happy to see that they got it.

"Here's your meds Karina, and a Body Armor. The next time you have to take them is at 3am. So one of us will get up to give them to you."- said Rhea

"Oh goodness, 3am, that's crazy. But if I want to lessen the pain, I gotta do what I gotta do."

It was around 9:30 pm, and Damian, Finn, and Rhea headed to bed. Dom stuck around to watch the show with Karina.
But Dom was acting different. He was much nicer to Karina than usual, and started leaning on her, just like he would do with Rhea.
"Aye yo, Dom. Are you good? lol."

"Yeah, I'm fine, I just don't want you to feel lonely, and I know that a little affection might help."

"Well okay, fine with me."

Rhea and Dom were comfortable with an open relationship, but they never thought it would be with the same person.

Dom eventually fell asleep on the couch right on Karina. His head was in her lap, and she was still awake, watching her show.
She didn't know how to feel about it. She never realized that she liked Dom too. She always thought she only liked Rhea.

Rhea couldn't sleep, so she came into her living room. Slightly shocked at the sight of Dom sleeping on Karina.
Rhea came and sat by Karina

"I can see my Dom Dom needed some sleep aye? Lol. He looks like a little teddy bear when he sleeps, doesn't he?"

"Oh definitely, and he sure is a heater as well. Does this man need a fan on him?" Said Karina jokingly

"Oh yeah, he sleeps with like 3 fans on him, but it's whenever I'm in pain, and he can just heal me with his warmth lol." Said Rhea

Rhea eventually got tired and fell asleep on Karina's shoulder.

Karina realized that the 2 people she loved the most were sleeping on her. She was so happy.

Rhea woke up to her 3am alarm to give Karina her medicine.

*yawning* "Here you go darling, I'll grab you a water"

"Thank you Rhea"

"No problem"

Karina also loved Dom's mullet. She was playing with his hair and scratching his head with her acrylic nails.

Dom wakes up, but he still is lying on Karina's lap, loving the fact that she's playing with his hair.

"That feels good, lol. I love head massages" said Dom

"I can give you another one, I've been at this for the past 30 minutes now, and I can continue if you want" said Karina

"That sounds amazing" said Dom

Karina continued to play with Dom's hair and scratch his head, making his slightly fall asleep, but he still wanted to be awake.
"I'm sorry Karina, but I have to use the bathroom"

Dom gently gets up and heads to the restroom.

Rhea was in her bed, sleeping like a baby. She rarely slept because of the crazy schedule. So she got a good 10 hours in.

"Okay, I'm back" said Dom

Instead of Dom lying on her lap, he put his arm around Karina's shoulders, and leaned on her. She sat up a bit and turned to face Dom, and he was going to lean in more to fall asleep on her shoulder, but their faces met, and they kissed.

"Holy shit, I'm so sorry Karina." Said Dom

"No worries, I've been waiting on that to happen." Karina chuckled

"Oh have you?" Dom said in a flirtatious tone

Dom and Karina made out for a good 15 minutes. He admired her so much. Everything about her. Her body, her smile, her attitude. Everything.

"Is Rhea gonna be mad? " said Karina nervously

"Of course not. If anything, she would've wanted to join." Said Dom

"Oh...."

"Yeah, Karina. Rhea loves you. Ever since that party at Zelina's, she's been talking about you to us nonstop. She loves every aspect of you. Just like I do." Said Dom

Karina was shocked. She didn't realize that this would happen. Not just Rhea, but Dom liked her too.

It was 9am, and Rhea finally woke up.

"What are you two love birds doing? Haha" Rhea laughed

Karina and Dom were kissing and admiring each other

"Damn, I didn't get an invite?" Said Rhea jealously

"Sorry Mami, I didn't want to wake your precious self up. You were sleeping so well, and I know you needed it" said Dom

"Ugh, you know me so well Dom Dom." Said Rhea

Dom got up and kissed Rhea, and then Rhea came over and kissed Karina on the cheek.

Since Karina was recovering, and was in a lot of pain, she couldn't go any further than making out with Dom or Rhea, but eventually, she would.
