Yeonjun's pride was completely stripped when Jiseok bruised up his face and body in front of the restaurant. Even the police officers seemed a little judgmental when they arrived.

Yeonjun didn't press charges though, even though the officers advised him to. Jiseok's arrest for a few measly punches wasn't going to make up enough for the revenge Yeonjun wanted to get.

What Yeonjun didn't know was that his entire relationship was revenge enough. He had the one thing Jiseok wanted, Jooyeon and a family with him.

Even if he did know, that still wasn't enough. He wanted to see Jiseok suffer and a day or two in jail wouldn't do that, pressing charges just seemed redundant.

"What happened to you?" Jooyeon asked hesitantly as he walked into the kitchen where Yeonjun was already sitting down at the kitchen table, an ice pack over his swollen eye.

His whole face was littered with pink and purple bruises but his right eye was the worst, practically swollen shut.

"Your boyfriend." Yeonjun grumbled, glaring at Jooyeon.

Jooyeon was dumbfounded. It was far too early into his day for Yeonjun to be starting with his bullshit. "Aren't you my boyfriend?" Jooyeon scoffed in annoyance, waltzing over to the high cabinets to grab his mug.

Yeonjun sighed at the answer. "The fucking waiter at that restaurant beat me up.." He admitted with a heavy sigh. He felt so defeated but that was somewhat his fault. Jiseok was just stronger than him.. so it seemed.

Jiseok had never been all that strong before, he always relied on his guns and blades to do the job, he hadn't ever needed to be buff in order to get his jobs done. But the anger that filled him that night was just so overpowering that Jiseok just didn't have a single second to think about what he was doing. All he was worried about was hurting Yeonjun because that's what he deserved.

"Jiseok?" Jooyeon questioned, he wouldn't put it past him to beat up Yeonjun. He was just surprised for some reason.

The boy took a deep breath as he filled his mug with juice before sitting down with Yeonjun at the table. "I told you.. there's nothing going on with him," Jooyeon stared deeply into Yeonjun's eyes, wanting him to believe him.

Yeonjun wanted to but he was sitting there with half his face swollen and bruised up. "Why'd he beat me up then?" Yeonjun huffed in frustration as he looked at the boy.

He couldn't move on from the fact of how protective he was over Jooyeon. "People like to play superhero when they see others in distress.." Jooyeon muttered out.

He knew very well that wasn't the reason but he wanted Yeonjun to leave it alone already. Even if he were to admit that they had anything at any point, he was going to start a family with Yeonjun, not Jiseok.

Yeonjun simply scoffed at the explanation. "Yeah, Whatever.." He mumbled under his breath as he just continued to ice his face.
