School year 2018-2019 has ended. The class Allistair and Shylie belongs to have devised a plan for an outing. Some of them went swimming and some of them went to watch a movie at the mall. Carl, Jean, Mark, and Selina have agreed to go to the cinema. But Allistair can't decide where to go as he is avoiding Shylie. But on the day where Carl, Jean, Mark, and Selina were about to go, they immediately messaged Allistair to just come at them. Then Allistair agreed and said "Okay, buy me a ticket, I'll pay after the movie. I'll be there in 40 minutes"
But 40 minutes have passed, And I still hasn't arrived at the mall. Then Selina messaged me.
"Wya? Movie's about to start"
So I said "I'll be there in a few minutes, heavy traffic"
It sucks to be stuck in a goddamn traffic to be honest. But I have been wanting to get there as soon as possible because I have a tea to spill for Mark and I'm planning to sit beside him.
I was late and 20 minutes of the movie have already consumed. And Carl was outside waiting for me telling me to make it faster. Thankfully, Selina did buy me a ticket but the only problem was she never reserved me a seat.
Just as we went inside, my eyes went straight directly to Shylie's. Eye to an eye in utmost confusion. There were only two vacant seats available from the latter row of the room. One was beside Selina and one beside Shylie. But Carl immediately took the seat beside Selina and laughed at me because they knew what was going on between me and Shylie. And I got no other choice but to take the seat beside Shylie. So I sits beside her like I'm an angel that comes to greet.
As the greatest part of the show appeared, I placed my hand on the arm chair. And moments later, Shylie did the same. So I looked at it and began shaking out of nowhere to the fact that my heart began beating hard like distant drums. Which I'm not sure and have no idea why it does. But as I have my pride as high as mountains, I gotta show how unperturbed I am by keeping my hand placed beside Shylie's.
Few minutes have passed....
Shylie poked my hand.
I just raised my eyebrows turning her way to appear that I'm unbothered. That's who I am, who I was, and who I am going to be. Then she suddenly asked me.
"Why were you ignoring me?"
My world paused and I could hardly feel my heart beating.
"Tell that to yourself, you're the one doing it. Last time I can recall, you walked past through me and not even an eye went to me during my second day of community service." Then I looked away after I said it
Shylie said "After that, you started to ignore me."
"Like duh! You paved the way. Helloooo?"
I said that as my eyes lit up for a jiffy. While Allistair's friends were busy enjoying the show, Allistair and Shylie are like dogs and cats on the corner.
Shylie: Can't you had at least texted me?
Allistair: I was afraid that I might disturb you and I was little embarrased knowing that you left me on seen the last time I messaged you. Remember?
And Shylie frowned at Allistair and she was rendered speechless as she realized it was her fault all along.
Allistair had a grin from ear to ear for a moment but hid it with his hand because he likes the feeling of winning after arguments .
" Look, I'm sorry for what I did to you and what I made you feel. I was just going through something at that time and I was afraid that I might pour my anger on you" Shylie exclaimed, linking her arm through Allistair.
