"Nothing happened"

Finally!

Batch 2022-23 has finally graduated. And their plan to go out is finally brought to reality. It was April 5, 2023, marked as one of the most memorable days of Allistair with Shylie. Shylie told Allistair to pick him up as they went to a lake with a great view for a resplendent sunset to gaze. It is where Allistair and Shylie had their first date. They bought soft drinks, pizzas, and some junk foods. As they were waiting for the sun to go down, they told their most memorable moment during high school, the dumbest shits they made, taking pictures of them together, and even laughed at each other's jokes.

Just as Shylie shares her story, Allistair was listening to her while staring at her eyes.

It is where she hates that it's crooked
Her happiness can't be contained
As Allistair stares her eyes
There's beauty that he can't explain.

Shylie: You can't keep your eyes off me, is there any dirt in it?

Allistair: No, there isn't. Continue your story please. I just like to see what I like.

So Shylie blushed for a jiffy, took a pause on her story and he just kissed Allistair in the cheek.

Allistair: What's that for?

Shylie: Your cheeks are looking extra cute today!

Shylie continued what she's talking about and Allistair just can't take his eyes off her. Because one thing for sure, Shylie made Allistair what butterflies feel like.

As Shylie keeps on talking, Allistair lost his temper, and did something a daredevil would do. He interrupted Shylie's story. He grabbed her arms and suddenly said this out of the blue.

"You want honesty? I used to like u FOR YEARS now. I've been secretly chasing you for four years, my feelings for you back then was not sure if I felt right about it, that's why I can't make a move. You just don't know how. Those things I've done to you right during our classes. All the flirty and shit, those weren't just "Thing" it was to test you if you're gonna bite the hook and you did. So I thought there's a cliff I can hang onto. The first moment I called you 'Love' I'm pretty sure you remember that. Until I got used to doing those things to you and there are days where if you're absent, my eyes would seek your presence. But as my feelings grow deeper, things you've done have made me a quitter. Every single time I'm showing that I'm interested in you, you always do these things that tells me I should stay away. That's where I had a thought that we really can't be together. God knows how much I prayed to have you. God knows that you're my wish in every shooting star that crosses across the moonlit streams. God knows everything I hoped for. Hope this "thing" won't affect our friendship. I've been secretly chasing you Shy, 4 damn years, 9 months and counting. You just don't know how, you just don't know why. I hope you know by now. You know what, I've been wanting to pursue you. But the timing was bitter for us. The reason why I wanted you so badly was I can't stand seeing you inside a love filled with lies, cheated on, being hurt by others, that's why I approached you with all my deepest and purest intentions because I wanted to give you the love you truly deserves and to make you feel loved in the purest and overwhelming way and at least for you to have someone to rock your world six ways from sundays and I would demand to travel to the moon and back to seven to nine more times in one life shattering 12-36 hour period because of what you've been through."

And Allistair let her read the poem he made when he knew he's in loved with her. That poem is entitled
