Alvin and The Outcasts
There's an old viking saying, "When your friends are roasting on the spit, you're the one who feels the fire." Mildew has made the entire village believe that dragons are too wild, that we all can't live together in peace.
He's wrong and I'm gonna prove it.
Astrid stood at the edge of a beach, her eyes drifting from the horizon, thinking about Mildew and especially the dragons, while the others were looking around the place.
Suddenly, Snotlout groaned loudly, stripping her away from her thoughts. "We've been here for hours and we haven't found anything!"
"We've been here for ten minutes," She pointed out. This morning they all sailed to a remote island so they can find the objects that Mildew threw, hoping that it washed up from shore when she told what she had saw, asking Hiccup to go with her (also permission so they can get a boat since he's the chief's son) Camicazi joined in also, she'd do anything to get her dragon back also she enjoys finding things.
"And you've done nothing but build... That." She gestured at the sand castle but made with stone instead of sand. The twins observing the 'thing' he made.
"To be honest with you, what even is that?" Hiccup raised a brow.
"That is Snotlout manor," His cousin answered like it was a master piece. "And all I need now is a queen." He cheekily grinned.
"Not in a million years, Snotlout." Camicazi hissed at him. He scoffed.
"Not you." He digarded her before putting a hand out to Astrid, she groaned — This is not the time!
Tuffnut stomped on it, destroying what Snotlout made that took ten minutes for him to build.
"What are you doing!?" Snotlout outraged close to tears, all his hard work down gone. She felt a bit horrible, a bit, but it was a waste of time.
"Storming the castle." He grinned as his sister rejoiced as it was destroyed.
"Come on guys!" Astrid yelled, getting desperate. They are wasting precious time here. "I'm telling you, Mildew framed our dragons. I saw dragon feet in Mildew's house, and I watched him throw them into the ocean!" She retold what she witnessed, making Hiccup sigh, if he gets one rune on how many times she said that, he'll get at least a dozen runes or more, he lost count.
"I don't mean to be Norbert the Negative," Fishlegs spoke up, Norbert was a man who says negative things and outcomes even though something really amazing happened, he managed to make things negative. (Astrid sometimes call him a pessimist) "But the ocean is really, really vast," He stated. "And our chances to find those dragon feet are good as Snotlout and Cami's-"
"Don't even think about it." Camicazi pointed a finger at him to hold his tongue.
"Not thinking anything." He trembled.
Hiccup nodded, "As much as I want to believe you on this and wished I was there but — besides if Mildew did it then how would he know how to make them." He went to her side. Why?! If only... I mean he does have a point—
"But you agreed with me and found suspicious that he was there when the fire happened!" She exclaimed. Why doesn't he believe her in this, he knows that s̶h̶e̶'s̶ a̶ h̶o̶r̶r̶i̶b̶l̶e̶ l̶i̶a̶r̶ she'd never lie, if she did he'll find out in a blink of an eye.
"Yes." He agreed simply, she looked at him but he caught her off before she got the chance to say something. "But, some people can walk really fast or just be there without us noticing." He made her deflate at his response.
