Maya's P.O.V.
I started to get nervous and my hands started to shake. Uncomfortably, I stood up from my seat and played with my jet-black hair, trying to calm myself down, but it didn't help. I wished Natsu was here to help me, and his smile too. But Natsu wasn't here and I had to do this on my own, hoping I wouldn't pass out. The choir teacher pulled out a notepad to mark my mistakes, and I nervously walked out to the center of the choir room.
Meanwhile...
Natsu's P.O.V.
While I was practicing, suddenly something didn't feel right. I remembered Maya's audition for choir during this period, and the feeling was like I could feel her nervousness from here. 'Damn, how can I get to the choir room without my dad knowing?' Asking my dad to use the bathroom, he would just tell me no. An idea then popped into my head.
Luckily, we were also practicing blocking other teams' baskets. When Jellal was about to make another basket, I ran towards him and jumped up, knocking the ball out of his hand hard enough that it went towards the gym doors, pushing them open and rolling down the hall.
The team had patted me on the back, saying 'good job' or 'nice one, Salamander'.
"Alright, who's getting the ball!" My dad yelled at us. I sighed and raised my hand. "I'll get it, I was the one that knocked it out of Jellal's hands." I then ran out of the gym and down the hallway to pick up the basketball in the process. I did a little happy dance. 'Yes, my plan is working.
All I have to do is make it to the auditions before my dad gets suspicious about where I'm at!' I said while running up the stairs, my basketball shoes squeaking with every step I took as I ran throughout the hallways. The choir room was not that far, just one more hall and a left...
Maya's P.O.V.
As I stood in the middle of the choir room, the choir teacher, Bisca, played with her green hair. "Alright, kid, state your name and what song you'll be singing," she said, looking at her notepad and then up at me. "I'm Maya, and I'll be singing 'Señorita' by Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes," I said in a shy voice. Bisca looked at me with her eyebrow raised. "Uh, that song requires two people, and there's just you."

"Don't worry, it's not just her," I heard a voice call out from the choir doors. Everyone looked in the same direction, and my eyes widened as I saw...(The picture above ⬆️)...Natsu. He started walking towards me. "Mr. Dragneel, shouldn't you be at basketball practice?" Bisca asked. "Yeah, but I have something important to take care of," he said, smirking as he walked over to my side. 'He's really here,' I thought. Bisca sighed and eventually let Natsu sing with me.
