Mr.Clive

Maya's P.O.V.

Natsu and I started walking to English class together. While walking and talking, I noticed out of the corner of my eye that Natsu was staring at me and blushing.
"Uh, what?" I asked him, blushing a bit as well.
"Oh! Uh, nothing," he said, looking down and chuckling.

Soon enough, we walked into English class. I was standing by the front door, my nerves were back, and I was clueless as to where I was going to sit. Natsu had already sat down, putting his feet on his desk and leaning back in his chair.

Suddenly, the door opened behind me and, scared by my nerves, I dashed to the other side of the room. Standing in the doorway was a confused Mr. Clive. Cana came in right behind him and took her seat.
"Are you the new student?" he asked, sitting down at his desk after the bell had rung.
"Y-yes, sir," I said, shyly.

Natsu's P.O.V

I chuckled slightly, seeing Maya dash to the other side of the room. I couldn't put my finger on what it was about her that I found intriguing. She was standing in the front next to Mr. Clive, and I could tell from the way he was looking around the room for a place to seat her.

I raised my hand and pointed at the seat next to me; I didn't have a seat partner for many reasons, but the thought of having Maya as my seat partner was exciting. Mr. Clive looked at me hesitantly, and I gave him my signature smile. He nodded, smiling.

"Maya, right?"
"Y-yes," she replied, her voice stuttering slightly.
I blushed at her cute little stutter.
I watched as Mr. Clive talked with Maya; I couldn't hear what he was saying, but after a minute of talking, I saw Maya walking towards me and I started to get excited. "Yes!" I whispered yelled to myself. I felt someone glaring behind me, so I turned around and saw Lisanna glaring hard at Maya. I quickly turned back around in my seat and watched as Maya took the seat next to me.

Lisanna P.O.V

Who does she think she is, sitting next to my Natsu, and why does she have to sit in front of me? Suddenly, a plan came into my mind.

Maya's P.O.V

I sat down next to Natsu, who looked more excited than usual. He turned to me to say something, but Mr. Clive interrupted him. "Alright, class, now I have some things to do, so you can have free time. Do what you want, but no screaming or fighting, so go ahead." Mr. Clive said as he started to do some paperwork.

Everyone started talking to each other and got up to start doing different things.
Natsu looked at me with a smile. "I can tell Sophomore year is gonna be awesome!" He grinned.

I just smiled back at him and then he started to ask me some questions, and then we started talking and laughing until he asked, "Hey, so what's up with the headphones?" He asked,
getting close and pointing at them. My face started to get warm and I started to get flustered. "Oh! My headphones are special to me. I listen to music on them," I said, taking my headphones off from around my neck.

Natsu's P.O.V.

I can't help but smile at Maya while she is talking; her smile, her stutter, her laugh--it's all perfect. She's so beautiful. I shake my head to clear my thoughts, only to see Maya snapping her fingers at my face while smiling at me.

Maya's P.O.V

I looked at Natsu, who had been staring at me while blushing. I snapped my fingers in his face to get him out of his thoughts.
"Hello, Earth to Natsu!" I said, giggling.
"Oh! Heh, sorry, Maya," he said, rubbing the back of his neck.
