Ross: Still no word from Vision?
"Oh look it's the Jackass" said Emerald.
Rhodes: Satellites lost him somewhere over Edinburgh.
Ross: On a stolen quinjet with four of the world's most wanted criminals.
Everyone scoffed.
Rhodes: You know they're only criminals because you've chosen to call them that, right, sir?
Ross: My God, Rhodes, your talent for horseshit rivals my own.
Tony and Rhodey roll their eyes.
Rhodes: If it weren't for those Accords, Vision would've been right here.
"That's true" said Emerald
Ross: I remember your signature on those papers, Colonel.
Rhodes: That's right. And I'm pretty sure I've paid for that.
Tony, Sam, Vision and Rhodey wince that the reminder of what happened.
Ross: You have second thoughts?
Rhodes: Not anymore.
(The door opened, Emerald and Steve stepped into the room while Wanda, Vision and Sam hang back, Sam has Vision on his shoulder.)
Steve Rogers: Mr. Secretary.
Ross: You got some nerve. I'll give you that.
Emerald Romanoff: You could use some of that right now.
Ross: The world's on fire. And you think, all is forgiven?
Steve Rogers: I'm not looking for forgiveness. And I'm way past asking for permission. Earth just lost her best defender. So we're here to fight. And if you wanna stand in our way... We'll fight you, too.
"You really think I'm Earth's best defender?" Tony asked.
Steve nodded.
"Ooh look Stony's back" said Emerald.
Steve and Tony looked at each other "Stony?" they asked in sync.
Ross (To Rhodes): Arrest them.
Rhodes: All over it. (Turns off hologram) That's a court-martial. It's great to see you, Cap.
Steve Rogers: You too, Rhodey.
Rhodes: Well. You guys, really look like crap. Must've been a rough couple of years.
Sam Wilson: Yeah, well, the hotels weren't exactly five star.
The ones that have been on the run grimaced at that.
Bruce Banner: Uh, I think you look great. Yeah. I'm back.
Emerald Romanoff: Hi, Bruce.
Bruce Banner: Hey Emmy.
(Cuts to a shot of Emerald, Bruce, Steve, Rhodey, Wanda, and Vision in another room.)
Bruce Banner: So we gotta assume they're coming back, right? And they can clearly find us. We need all hands on deck. Where's Clint?
Emerald Romanoff: After the whole Accords situation, he and Scott took a deal. It was too tough on their families, it was hard on the kids, after this fight I'm leaving.
