sabrena has been avoiding talking to Oakley long enough. so she decided to pick up the phone and facetime him."Hey, Oaks," Sabrena's voice wavered as he answered, her heart heavy with the weight of recent events.
"What's up, Sabs," Oakley's voice sounded nonchalant, as if he had been expecting the call.
Sabrena took a deep breath, her thoughts muddled by the whirlwind of emotions. "We need to talk about what happened, Oakley. Those pictures... they're all over the tabloids. I don't know what to think right now."
Oakley's sigh came through the phone, lacking sincerity. "Sabrena, you have to understand, the tabloids make things look much worse than they actually are. I can explain."
Sabrena couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal that gnawed at her. "Oakley, this is the second time I've caught you. I can't just ignore this anymore. It's a pattern that needs to be stopped."
His voice grew dismissive. "It's not what it seems. You know how people twist things man. They've even started shipping you with that Bada chick. You sure nothin happenin there?"
Sabrena felt her frustration well up. "Bada and I are just friends. You know I'm straight."
His tone turned accusatory. "Are you sure about that? Because those posts on ig say otherwise, they don't look like 'just friends' to me."
Sabrena's voice quivered as she defended herself. "I am sure, Oakley. I don't know what delusional world you live in where you think 2 friends going out for coffee looks suspicious but this is not about me. I trusted you, and you broke that trust...again"
Tears welled up in her eyes, her voice breaking as she continued, "I thought we had something special, and I believed in you, Oakley. I never thought you'd do this to me a second time."
Oakley, seemingly unfazed, replied, "Well, you're too naive, Sabrena. I've got a life to live, and if you want to be caught up in rumors and friendships, then go ahead."
Sabrena's heart ached, and she felt a sense of heartbreak and disillusionment. She gathered her strength, her voice filled with a deep sadness as she said, "I deserve better, Oaks. I'm done with this. I'm done with you treating me like filth. I'm done with you. It's time I put myself first and finally move on from this toxic ass relationship."
"You do what you have to do, Sabrena."
As the conversation ended, Sabrena was left with a heavy heart and the painful realization that the relationship she had cherished had come to an end. The uncertainty about her feelings and her identity lingered, but she was positive about her decision to move forward, seeking the happiness and respect she truly deserved.
