Sabrena had been thinking a lot about her conversation with her crew. She wanted to be able to spend time with Bada and not feel like she's hiding a second life from her loved ones. She felt it was time to finally rip off the bandaid and tell her mother her new revelation.

While she had initially planned to wait until after the Street Woman Fighter competition, she couldn't bear to hide it any longer. She wanted to be able to live her authentic truth. The previous events with Bada seemed to have influenced that. It was on the crew's rest day that she decided to make the call.

Sitting alone in her airbnb, Sabrena dialed her mother's number and waited anxiously as the call connected. Her heart raced, and the seconds felt like hours until her mother's face appeared on the screen.

"Mum!" Sabrena exclaimed, her voice quivering with a mix of excitement and nerves. "I've missed you so much. How are you?"

Her mother's face softened into a warm smile. "Oh, Sabrena, I've missed you too, sweetheart. I'm doing well, just got home from the shops. How's everything going over there in Korea?"

Sabrena mustered a smile and began to recount her experiences and adventures in the land of K-pop and street dance, carefully avoiding the weighty topic that hung heavily in her mind.

"We're actually competing in the class mission now," Sabrena said, a hint of excitement in her voice. "It's where we have to make a dance music video. It's been quite the challenge, but I think we're all doing well in our groups."

Her mother's eyes sparkled with pride. "That sounds amazing, dear. I'm so proud of you."

As the conversation continued, Sabrena found herself replaying the words she'd rehearsed in her mind. She knew she had to tell her mother, but the fear of her reaction was paralyzing. Her mother's religious background and past views on homosexuality added to her anxiety.

Taking a deep breath, Sabrena finally mustered the courage to speak. Her voice shaking. "Mum, there's something important I need to talk to you about. But I...I don't want you to think any differently of me or want this to affect our relationship at all."

Her mother's brow furrowed with concern. "You're scaring me, Sabrena. What is it? Did you get knocked up by some Korean guy?"

Sabrena's voice wavered as tears welled up in her eyes. "Mum, I'm not... I'm not pregnant, but..."

A heavy silence hung in the air as her mother waited anxiously. "But what, Sabrena? Please, just tell me."

Sabrena's voice quivered as she forced out the words, "I'm uhh..i'm bisexual."
