Halloween night had arrived, and Y/N and Minho were in full costume, ready to celebrate the spooky holiday. They had always loved Halloween, and this year, they had decided to go all out with their costumes. Y/N had dressed up as a friendly witch, complete with a pointy hat and a broom, while Minho had gone as a mischievous scarecrow with straw sticking out from his costume.

As they stood in the living room, they surveyed the bowls of candy they had set out for any trick-or-treaters who might come to their door. Y/N had carefully selected an assortment of chocolates and sweets to offer the little ghouls and goblins, but Minho had a different idea.

He eyed the candy with a wicked grin. "Y/N, what if we gave them a real scare? We could put some fake spiders in the candy bowls and watch them freak out!"

Y/N rolled her eyes, not entirely surprised by Minho's mischievous suggestion. "Minho, we want to give them a treat, not a trick. Halloween is about making kids smile, not making them cry."

Minho laughed, his scarecrow costume rustling with his movements. "Oh, come on, Y/N! It would be hilarious."

They playfully bickered about it for a while, but Y/N remained steadfast in her commitment to spreading Halloween joy. She wanted to be the house that all the kids loved to visit, not the one they dreaded.

"Fine, be nice," Minho teased, "but I'm warning you, I'm going to do some jump scares when I hand out the candy."

Y/N couldn't help but laugh. Minho was known for his playful nature, and she was secretly excited to see how he would interact with the little trick-or-treaters.

As they waited for the first group of kids to arrive, they sat by the window, eagerly watching for any signs of approaching costumed figures. The sun dipped below the horizon, and the neighbourhood began to buzz with excitement.

Soon, the doorbell rang, and Y/N and Minho sprang into action. They rushed to the door and opened it to reveal a group of children, their faces painted with various Halloween designs.

"Trick or treat!" they shouted in unison, holding out their bags and buckets for candy.

Y/N and Minho grinned and started filling their bags with sweets, making sure to give each child a generous helping of candy. The kids were delighted with their haul and thanked the couple before moving on to the next house.

As more groups of trick-or-treaters came by, Minho couldn't resist throwing in a playful scare or two. He would let out a fake shriek or pretend to be a lifeless scarecrow before giving them candy, causing the kids to laugh and play along.

Y/N couldn't help but smile as she watched Minho interact with the children. His playful antics made the night even more special, and she was grateful for his presence in her life.

After a while, they took a break and sat on their front porch, the cool autumn breeze rustling the leaves. The sound of laughter and children's voices filled the air as they enjoyed the magic of Halloween.

"Okay, maybe it's not so bad to have a little scare mixed in with the treats," Y/N admitted, her eyes twinkling.

Minho grinned. "See, I knew you'd come around to my way of thinking."

As the night continued, Y/N and Minho took turns handing out candy and delighting the children who came to their door. They couldn't have been happier to share in the joy of Halloween and create special memories together.

When the last group of trick-or-treaters had come and gone, they closed their front door and headed back inside, their hearts full of Halloween spirit. It had been a night of laughter, playful scares, and shared moments, a reminder of the joy they found in each other's company.

As they removed their costumes and settled in for the night, Y/N and Minho couldn't help but reflect on the magical Halloween they had shared. It was a night filled with treats, tricks, and, most importantly, their love for each other.
