"Riahanon!" My mum squeals excitedly. "Wakeup! There's a boy!"

"I'm awake and in the bathroom mum," I reply as I apply the last bit of moisturizer to my face.

"Well there's a boy!" She says again and I laugh at her. My mum usually wouldn't react this way but it's 7AM and she's probably just had coffee, and by 'boy' she means 'super famous pop-rock guitarist that's interested in her daughter'.

I finish doing my makeup and walk into my bedroom, straightening out my leather jacket that was positioned over my white blouse. I wore a black skirt and a pair of high heels, the appropriate attire for my job, according to my mum. I apply a light layer of lip gloss, to make my red lipstick stand out.

"Ok I'm ready," I say as I enter the living room.

"Riahanon can you please take me to Carly's on Saturday?"

"Ri, can I borrow your purple lipgloss?"

"Can you help me with my homework tonight?"

"What's 12 plus 5?" All these questions are asked at once.

"Paris, if mum says yes, no you cannot Berlin, sure thing Rome, 17 Sydney," I say. Everyone groans, celebrates or mumbles thank you and I see Michael watching by the door with an amused smile.

"Let's go," he says.

"Wait!" I said reading his shirt before giving him a hug.

"What?" he asked confused and I pointed at his 'Free Hugs' shirt.

"Oh," he laughed before grabbing my hand and leading me out of the house. I waved at my family and we walked down the path before Michael opened the door for me. I smiled at him and slid into the car.

"How's your morning been?" he asks after he hops into the car.

"Uh since you texted me 10 minutes ago and asked? Good," I laughed.

"Oh, yeah," he says scratching the back of his neck, looking at me sheepishly.

"How about you, how's your morning been?" I asked curiously.

"Tired, I don't usually get up this early," he replies.

"I'm sorry!" I reply and he shrugs.

"It's an excuse to spend more time with you," he says. We make light conversation until we reach the heart of the city.

"Turn right here," I say and Michael does as told. I then point out my work building and he parks in front of it. I hop out before bending down to pick up my bag.

"Thanks for giving me a lift," I say and notice his eyes weren't on mine. He was staring straight at my chest and I giggle. "You're such a pig."

"I'm a hormonal teenage boy!" he says in defense.

"Sure," I reply, rolling my eyes.

"What time do you finish?" he asks.

"Three o'clock," I reply shyly.

"I'll be back then," he says.

"Okay, bye," I reply waving shyly. He drives off and I head into the building.

"Who was that?" my co-worker, Zara asks.

"Michael," I said, blushing slightly.

"Is he your boyfriend?!" she interrogates.

"We've only been on one date!" I reply.

"Ah so you're dating but you aren't official?" she replies.
