Chapter 10- "Cough up mother f-"

Michael and I spent the entire day out on the beach, messing around and hanging out. We were enjoying our privacy, that is, until Calum and Becky randomly showed up. Followed by Ashton and Luke with two girls, Bryanna and Arliya.

"What the hell? I thought you couldn't come?" Michael says as Calum walks through the door with Becky, interrupting our hardcore cuddling session.

"Oh hey Beck," I said hugging my cousin and then smiling and waving at Calum. "Calum."

"Calum," Michael whines. "Why are you here?"

"Hey Cal where will I be sleeping so Ri and I can unpack my stuff?" Becky asks.

"Everyone stop asking me questions!" Calum snaps. "Michael, I finished earlier in the studio than I thought I would so I thought we could join you, but can you show Beck to the green room? We'll be sleeping there."

"We've taken the green room," Michael smirks.

"Damn you, okay blue room?" Cal asks. "I wanna talk to Ri."

"Sure," Michael replies suspiciously before taking Becky upstairs.

"Ri can we take a walk?" Calum asks.

"Sure thing," I respond. I follow him out onto the beach.

"So the real reason Beck and I are here is because I thought it'd be a nice get away and I really needed to talk to you," Calum said.

"About what?" I say as we make our way up the beach.

"A couple of things," Calum says. "I'll start with Becky."

"Okay," I say, a little confused. We find a spot and sit down.

"As you know Becky and I are really close now," Calum says. "But I really like her and whilst at the moment we're kinda like friends with benefits, I was wondering if you could talk to her about me. I want to know if that's all she wants."

"I can do that, but I think she really likes you too," I say bumping my shoulder against his.

"The second thing I wanted to talk about is you and Michael," he says as he clears his throat.

"Are you concerned I'm gonna hurt him? Because I swear I won't," I say.

"No, I'm concerned he's gonna hurt you unintentionally," Calum says.

"What do you mean?" I ask. Confused, Riahanon is confused.

"There's a reason we're on this break, Michael has been really unwell lately," Calum states.

"But he seems fine?" I respond.

"He may look physically fine but mentally he's fighting a huge battle with himself, I can't tell you all the details because he has to tell you himself but please know that he wouldn't ever intentionally hurt you and never physically. I just think that he might hurt you in the fact that he's hurting himself, internally and because you care about him so much, he might hurt you in doing so. All I know is that throughout his life he's never felt like he belonged anywhere until he got into the band. But even sometimes we can't help him, watching him with you, I think you can help my best friend, I love him so goddamn much but he needs you Riahanon and please don't get scared off because of Michaels struggles and please don't let our fans get to you, but at the same time please don't treat them the way some of the girls we've dated have," Calum speaks from the heart throughout his entire speech and to be honest, I just get really concerned for Michael.

"I really like him Calum, a lot. Your fans got you to where you are and I know that none of you would be the people you are today without them so I fully respect them," I say. "I care about him so much and I swear I'll try my hardest to help him and how him I care."
