Chapter 12- "What are your intentions?"

"Hey I've been stalking your twitter profile for a year and I'm in love with you," Michael says. "That sounds weird because I've never met you before." 

"Well I've been a fan since 2012 and so I've been stalking you since then," I say with a laugh. 

Then suddenly I wake up and I realize everything had been a dream.

The following Sunday, I left for New York. Usually the Summertime Ball was held in England, but this year America wanted to do it. So I'm in New York on my way to the hotel that I'm staying at with my boss, who's booked only a single room for herself, telling me to share with Michael who happens to be staying in the same hotel. He doesn't know I'm in New York yet, he thinks I'm still on the plane, my mum texted him saying I left four hours later than I actually did so I could surprise him. 

When we arrive at the hotel, we go straight to the reception desk and we're greeted with a young, bubbly blonde girl who's more than happy to give us the keycards as we explain who we are. 

"Thank you so much," I say as she passes me the spare card into Michael's room. 

"The pleasure is all ours," she says with a big smile. We walk to the elevator and I part ways with Elizia, and ride the elevator to the twelfth floor. I walk out and make my way down the hallway before I see Calum conveniently in the hallway, walking. 

"Cal!" I call quietly and he looks back at me and grins. 

"Hey Vincent! What're you doing here early?" he asks. 

"I'm surprising Michael, I got mum to text him to tell him that I left later than I did so I can scare him. Can you help me out?" I ask and he nods with a grin on his face. 

"I certainly can," he responds with a smirk. "Okay here's what we do, you go hide in my room in the bathroom, I'm gonna call him to my room and hopefully if this works out, I'll lock him in there and then he'll probably walk to the fridge first because he hasn't eaten yet, so then when he does, you come out of the bathroom quietly and scare him."

"Okay here's my room, let's do this," he says and I go to hide in the bathroom. I hear him call Michael and a few minutes later I hear a knock on Calum's door. I smile as I hear the voice of my boyfriend as he speaks. 

"Hey mate," he says. "What did you need?" 

"Just wait here," I hear Calum say and he just leaves the room and locks Michael in. 

"What the hell?" Michael whispers. I crack the bathroom door open a bit more before watching Michael walk to the fridge. I quickly tip toe out of the bathroom and run towards Michael and jump on his back. 

"Ah fuck!" He screams before I jump back off him and he turns around. I kiss him before he can respond. "You scared the shit out of me!" 

"I know," I say cheekily. 

"What are you doing here? I was supposed to come pick you up in two hours from the airport!" He says. 

"Mum tricked you so I could surprise you," I say with a small smile. He kissed me again and suddenly there was a banging on the door. 

"Can you guys let me in? I accidentally forgot my keycard," Calum called and I giggled as we parted. I walked to his door and let him in, before Michael tugged me out of the room.
