Chapter Two: To Auradon

"They say I'm trouble. They say I'm bad. They say I'm evil. And that makes me glad." (Mal) "A dirty no-good good, down to the bone. Your worst nightmare. Can't take me home." (Jay) "So, I've got some mischief in my blood. Can you blame me? I never got no love." (Evie) "They think I'm callous, a lowlife hood. I feel so useless." (Carlos) "Misunderstood!" (All) "Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who's the baddest of them all? Welcome to my Wicked World, wicked World..." (Mal and Evie) "I'm rotten to the core, core. Rotten to the core. I'm rotten to the core, core. Who could ask for more? I'm nothin' like the kid next, like the kid next door. I'm rotten to the (core), I'm rotten to the (core). I'm rotten to the core!" (All) "They call me a schemer, call me a freak. How can you say that. I'm just unique." (Mal) "What? Me a traiter? Ain't got your back? Are we not friends? What's up with that?" (Jay) "So, I'm a misfit. So, I'm a flirt. I broke your heart? I made ya hurt?" (Evie) "The past is past. Forgive, forget. The truth is..." (Carlos) "You ain't seen nothin' yet!" (All) "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the baddest of them all? Welcome to my Wicked World, Wicked World..." (Evie and Mal) "I'm rotten to the core, core, rotten to the core. As the song ended a woman and her child walked by, Mal stole the lollipop from the infant and showed it off to everyone from there dance number and everyone laughed before running away and into Hadley, daughter of Hades, she growled as they past her, usually they would be scared of her but they were far more terrified of the one they where running away from.

Two men approached, Mal turned around and spoke "Hi, mom." a woman with pointy thorns on her head made her way through the men, Maleficent. "Stealing candy, Mal?" she asked not noticing the girl with multi-colored blue hair who she had an unreasonable hatred for. "I'm so disappointed." Maleficent said shaking her head, and Hadley who wore light blue and black leather shrugged "I have some time to eavesdropped," she chuckled "my second best talent." "It was from a baby." Mal told her mother as she handed it to her "That's my nasty little girl." Maleficent took the sucker spit on it, put it under her armpit before handing it to one of the men and saying "Give it back to the dreadful creature." "Mom..." Mal started "It's the deets, Mal, that makes the difference between mean and truly evil! When I was your age I was cursing entire..." "Kingdoms." Mal finished for her mother "You..." Maleficent clicked her tongue and pointed at Mal "Walk with me." Maleficent said putting her arm around Mal's shoulder "See, I'm just trying to teach you the most important thing, how to be me." "I know that. And I'll do better." Mal told her. There was a long pause before Maleficent had a sudden outburst.

"Oh, there's news. I buried the lead." she laughed "You four have been chosen to go to a different school, in Auradon." Hadley gasped and got up off the ledge she was sitting on "Daddy's gonna flip." she exclaimed as she ran over to her home she shared with her father. 

Evie, Carlos, and Jay tried to run away but were caught by Maleficent's goons. "What?" Mal asked angrily "I'm not going to some boarding school filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses!" "And perfect princes." Evie added dreamily "Ugh!" she said, persuaded by Mal's disgusted look "Yeah, and I don't do 'uniforms'." Jay said using quotation marks "Unless it's leather, you feel me." "I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon. Mom said they're rabid pack animals who eat boys who don't behave." Carlos said clearly terrified, Jay came up to him and barked only to scare his friend "Yeah, Mom, we're not going." "Oh, you're thinking small, pumpkin. It's all about world domination." Maleficent licked her lip "Knuckleheads!" she started to walk away before calling "Mal... Go back to my lair, I have something to pick up."

Hadley burst into her father's Cave and declared "Mal and her friends are going to Auradon." "What?!" Hades yelled as he got up off his couch and moved his sunglasses to his head "Are you sure?" "Very. I overheard 'the Mistress of Evil' tell them." Hadley said rolling her eyes as she came down the stairs "I don't believe it." Hades growled "Believe it. Because Hadley was selected too." Maleficent spoke as she entered the cave "Maleficent!" Hades snarled "What!?" Hadley asked dramatically as she stared up at the evil fairy.  "No way. Not happening. Never in your wildest dreams!" Hadley declared as she looked back and forth between the villains "I'm going, aren't I?" Maleficent grabbed Hadly's elbow and started pulling but before leaving she called "You too Hades." and left to her lair.
