Isn't it funny how,
If a man doesn't live up to the 'social expectations and stereotypes' he is asked if he is gay,
Almost as if he can't be
And so what if he is,
It doesn't make him less of a man.Isn't it funny how,
When a woman wants to become a engineer
She is pressured by her peers to be something else,
Be someone she isn't
Almost as if they all think 'she isn't fit enough for the job'Isn't it funny how,
You hear parents talking about how being a parent is a job they don't get paid for, they will always support their kids,
Yet when your son or daughter comes out as gay all of a sudden they are just another face worn by this corrupt society. This isn't funny, this is real life.
Being gay doesn't make anyone less of a man, woman or person.
It's makes them who they have always been. This isn't funny, this is real life.
Women get paid less then men in the work place,
Woman get denied for who they are and who they will always be,
Women get cast aside for jobs that they haven't chose themselves. This isnt funny, this is real life,
This is your child.
Your child that trusted you,
Your child that felt happy enough to tell you something about themselves that you could have never have seen,
And you cast them away.! REMINDER !
