Newt and Hicks sat in the once cozy interior of Jacob's Bakery and bake shop. There was glass on the ground, a very nervous Queenie in the corner, and blood on the walls. Teddy, the niffler picked up what appear to be a tooth off the ground.

"lets clear this up for you." Hicks said, causing the glass to fly back to the window and reassemble itself.

"It didn't do much for the decor." Jacob mumbled.

"I'm sorry we had to meet again under such nasty circumstances, Jacob. So glad to hear about your pregnancy." Newt pondered. "Yeah."

So what did this CHARACTER want?" Hicks asked Jacob.

"Well, he said something about getting power of wizards, taking magic for the muggles, and about how he wanted me to join." Jacob looked at Newt. "Not that I resent you for having magic, I mean it be cool to go pew pew with my wand and all, but I wouldn't go so far as that!"

Newt shook his head. "No, you wouldn't. That was Professor Ajax McWix. He's the head of a magical creatures smuggling ring I've been chasing for some time. He's a bad dude." Newt scratched the head of three eyed cat.

One of Grindlewald's?" Queenie asked. Newt shook his head. "No..but just as nasty. Luckily for us they wouldn't get along.

Jacob frowned. "Hold on, he told me his name was Awix McJack!"

Newt nodded. "His real name is Ajax McWix. Evidently he was using a fake name. Did he say anything else?"

Jacob grimaced. "Well he said something about a Keystonebobos? No, a Catcallbonobo? No..."

Newt pounced. "A Quetzalboros! That's impossible!"

Hicks looked at him. "I've never heard of such a thing before. What is it?"

Newt was shaking phsyically. "A Quetzalboros is magical creature of legendary power. Ancient mayan legend says that it takes the shape of a giant flying snake eating its tale, and it has power over magic."

Jacob leaned forward. "What does that mean? He said he could give me magic."

Newt nodded slowly, "With the Quetzalboros, he could very well could. The Quetzalboros can control who is allowed to have magic. It can remove magic from the world... and give to everybody..."

Hicks stood up. "Wow this is some heavy duty mish-mash, if you're catching my cat. I must tell the Head of Macusa right away...where is this Quetzalboros, do we know?"

Newt looked at her. "The quetzalboros is a statue in south America, but once every 1000 years, it become alive, and can grant wishes connected to having magic and what not."

He looked up. "It looks like that time...is now."

Hicks stiffened. "We should get dumbledore on this. He'll know what to do."

Newt nodded. "I'll see to it." He stood up, and nodded at Jacob. "You coming?"

----

Grindlewald lounged in front of a pool of water in a throne black as the night of death itself. He gazed at the figure floating in the water, a projection from far away. The light of the pool was the only light in the room, giving Grindlewald a sickly.

"Something called the Quetzalboros....a creature that controls who has magic."

Grindlewald leans forward. "Are you sure? All magic?"

The frigure nrods. "That's what it sounds like."

Grindlewald stands up. "Do they suspect you?"

"No...my presence is unnoticed."

"Good... keep my informed, and keep hidden unti lthe time is right..."

He leaves the pool room as the figure disappears. Could it be? The oppurtunity he had been looking for? To win ??

He stalks into the room with dumbledore's mirror. The women that hung around him became alert when he saw her. "Any news, my lord?" She asked.

Instead of answering like a refular person, Grindlewald stalks up the mirror, turing his back to the women.

"Do you know how long I've strived to have the power I want? I need? All my life... And small minded are like weights on my arms."

He whirled to face her, shouting. "Well no longer! I will have magic and I alone! those cretins, those imbeciles won't hold me back any more! I release them! I am my own wizard, now! I control the fate of the magic!"

In one fluid motion, he whirls back to the mirror, bringing his fist crashing into its face. I shattered inward, leaving nothing but a void behind.
