The flashback opens on a the beauftiul woman and Aberforth, together, and flushed with their love for each other.

We were in love. We loved each other. It was beauftil, but no thorn is without its rose....

As they talked together in their little home, she suddenly pulls away. Her shadow on the wall contorts into something not human, something....else.

She was like you...A maledictus....

Where once there was a beuatiful women, now a goat stood in front of Aberforth, bleating sadly. Aberforth knelt down and kissed it. "We'll get this figured out..." He promised.

I tried every spell I knew to help her, every potion I could think of...but I'm not the magician my brother is... but i was too prideful to ask for help....

We see aberforth, sweating over various potions and tinctures, and he mutters to himself. "I'm not losing another family member...."

We cut to a few years later. Creedence has been born and is now a healthy toddler. We see him with his mom playing. She is a goat, and he cheers as he rides on her back.

Just then, Aberforth walks in through the front door, exhausted after a long, taxing day.

"I work all day and I come home to this?!"

The goat and creedence both freeze midgallup. The goat bleats sadly.

Aberforth is undettered. "When I come home, I expect a warm meal waiting for me! I don't care if you don't have fingers!"

Creedence starts crying. The goat walks away in a huff.

Later that night, Aberforth is sitting on the edge of his bed, his head in his hands. The goat is also in his bed. The goat gentley places its hoof on Aberforth's neck. He breaks. "It's just so hard!" He cries.

Later, he is walking in the market, through a crowded street. He is carrying ingredients for the next in a long line of potions that are unlikely to help. As he stubmles, he nearly runs into a mom and little girl in a pink coat."Sorry..." He mumbles. She stops and stares at his back as he walkes away. The girl's mom tugs on her hand, saying "Come along, Dolores!"

We always had to act with the upmost secrecy- people wouldn't understand... But we weren't secret enough.

Later that night, as Aberforth works laborously on potions and magics, trying to charm his goat wife, he is being watched. Through the window, the little girl from earlier peers, seeing Aberforth's crimes.

In a short time, there is a knock at his door. HE answeres it, and it is a woman. She says "Aberforth Dumbledore? I am Delilah Umbridge, head of the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures! My daughter saw everything! I am going to arrest you!" Aberforth tries to resist, but is quickly met with a petrificus totatlus.

Aberforth is unable to move as his crying son and bleating wife are taken by ministry officials. Delilah umbridge stands above him. "You have commited a crime! We're taking your son and goat wife away from you! They're going to America!"

The flashback ends, and we see a present day Aberforth. The years have not been kind to him.

"And I never saw her again."

Creedence stirred. "Do you know...what happend to my mother?"

Aberforth shook his head sadly. "Dead...on the Titanic...

"I looked for you, of course...but...I nver..." He swallowed. "Maybe you were better off without me as a father...."

Nagini perked up, and looked down at Creedence. "It makes sense that you were the son of a Maledictus. There is a saying among the Maledictus. 'Those who are born of a Maledcitus and a Wizard will have great destiny."

She smiles and puts her hand on her stomach. "I only hope our child will have such a great destiny..."

Beside her, Creedence gurgles.

Aberforth looks stunned. "You mean...You're saying!"

"Yes me and Creedence are going to have a baby! I'm only worried because the curse of the Maledictus is passed down genetically, so there's a good chance my child will have it too. It's animal form doesn't have to be the same as mine. It could be a lizard, a dog, an owl..... I only wonder what to call her....I think it's a her...."

Aberforth smiles and hands Nagini the locket. She smiles. "We'll name her after her grandmother..."

The locket is open, in one half, we see the picture of the beautiful women, and in the other, we see her name engraved; Hedwig.
