Newt and Jacob couldn't apparate because of Jacob, so they had to take a boat to Hogwarts. The fresh air did them both good. Newt had his bag, safe and sound.

"You know, I came to America on a boat not unlike this..." Newt said to Jacob, as the felt the breeze play through their hair.

"Yeah, and Corvus Lestrange died on a boat like this..." Jacob said, thinking of the Titanic.

He then yelped and pointed out to hunred feet left of the boat. There, a ginat sea serpant splashed up from the water, with a killer whale in its mouth.

Newt chuckled. "Don't worry, we're safe. No one on this boat resembles a whale enough for the sea serpent to be interested, not even you."

Jacob doesn't look reassured. Just then, the purple long-tailed cat runs up to Newt. Purring gnetly.

"Oh, there you are. Where did you run off to?"

Creedence existed in a maliase. Reality smeared around him in a nonsensical blur; a forlorn painting that was left out in the rain. He stood still, and the world kept spinning, presenting a neverending barrage of incongrous images; at both times too loud and without sound. He was looking up at his mother. He watched through a banister as a women yelled at children. He saw a beautiful woman trapped in a cage. He saw the phoenix whirling above him. He saw a man with white hair laughing. Blues on greens. Confusing flashes of conversation. "My name is Auraelius" " I don't want to anymore" "This one has a curse." Faces erupt in front of him. Are they real? Creedence can't be sure. His head hurt, and his mind couldn't connect what he saw with any kind of meaning. A kindly face. His mother's face. A young man's face. A anxious women stared at him. A gruff looking man with a beard slowly materialized in front of him.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy." Aberforth said to Creedence. This, it seemed, was real.

"Has he eaten anything?" Aberforth asked Nagini, who was standing beside Creedence. She shook her head. "He barely talks, I don't think he understands what's going on. There are moments where he Knows where he is but-" She cuts off, on the verge of tears.

"...Dad...is that...you?" Creedence's voice is nothing more than a whisper.

"Yes... it's me....just lie still, and try to drink, it'll all be alright...." Aberforth said, placing a cup of water upon Creedence's lips. He doesn't drink. His breathing is labored.

"I wish...I wish I could've done more...I helped him...Grindlewald....I wish I coudl've saved them!"

Aberforth shakes his head, and takes Creedence's hand in his. His hand is cold. "No Creedence! You've done enough! You've saved us Creedence! You've saved us all....just by being you."

Nagani gained her composure. "We both have our curses, he helped me when my Maledictus turned me into a snake.....but I can't help him..."

"A...Maledictus?" Aberforth drops Creedence's hands and lookes at Nagini with renewed interest. He chuckles quietly, and pulls out locket. There is a picutre of a beautiful women insided.

"Creedence...Let me tell you about...your mother."
