Three.

It was time for y/n to go to her house to deal with a few things, before it was time to say a final goodbye hopefully to the house, she called hell. And as promised, Tony, Bruce and Nat were there with her to give her the courage to do this. Once they got up to the house, y/n's brain switched to big girl mode to better handle the situation. Taking a long deep breath in, and letting a just as long sigh out, y/n went up to the door and attempted to open it. Fiddling with the door handle, and Tony seeing as he walked up behind her and place a hand on her shoulder.

"Hey kid, you alright?" He spoke softly, as she shaked her head slightly.

"It's locked... they never gave me a key." She said sadly. With those words, Tony sighed a bit not wanting to stand outside for a long period of time. Let alone have y/n here any longer than she had to. Even though she was in the tower for a day, have spoken to them a bit before hand, the team had grown to love her. They all thought was adorable when she was small and felt like they had to protect her at all costs. Tony stepped back, placing y/n behind him and in front of Bruce, who was ready for what was coming next. Y/n yelped slightly as there was a loud bang, waking up the whole neighbourhood, setting off car alarms and dogs were barking in the area. Once smoke that gathered cleared, y/n saw that Tony had his suits arm on and had blasted the door right down. The door was absolutely in pieces, and it earned a small smile from her.

Seconds later, both y/ns parents were downstairs screaming and freaking out over the door and started to threaten legal actions. Tony tried his best to keep them off to the side, as y/n sneaked up stairs with Nat following behind her. Bruce had stayed outside in case the worst case for him and thought it would be safer for him there. Y/n started to sniffle slightly, seeing her room almost completely empty already.

"h... Why?" Was all y/n said before she fell to her knees, going completely little in her tears as Nat bent down to pick her up, and settled her on her hip. She was trying to calm the crying little one down the best she could. Through y/n's tears she looked up to Nat and spoke the best she could. "itonlybeenadayhowcouldtheyalreadydothis?!" Nat sighed softly as she cradled y/n in her arms as she carried her back down, and y/n didn't even care at the fact her parents were right there.

"Oh, look it's the little cry baby getting babied. Good god child, grow the hell up already would you" Her mother spoke with venom laced in her voice, that threw Tony over the edge. Now Tony would never hit a woman, unless it was necessary, so instead he threw a punch towards y/n's fathers face. Landing square in the nose, causing it to bleed on impact and swell up slowly. He keeled over as the mother lend down yelling out. "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!"

"Some one you don't want to mess with, lady." Was all Tony said before he went to go stand beside Bruce as Nat quietly took the sobbing little to stand with them. Nat explained what happened up stairs, and it broke the two men's hearts into pieces. A sliver in them had hopped her parents would see the error in their ways and try to mend the relationship that they never truly had. At this point, after just watching, Bruce had enough and needed to make something clear. So, with a cheeky smirk he stepped forward and started to grow and transformed into the Hulk. Y/n looked up, and her tears stopped for a moment to watch as the Hulk walked over to her parents who were now cowering in fear.

He didn't speak but gave his best and loudest roar in their faces, making them scream and cover their heads in a panic. Even her father ended up peeing his pants on the spot as they both started to tear up. Y/n managed to give a small smile as she watched with a sniffle, and Tony clapped grabbing everyone's attention.

"What Hulk said was, you can go back to pretending you don't have a daughter, and if you dare to try to do anything. He will be back." Was Tony said as Nat gave a small chuckle while Y/n rubbed her nose with her hand. Seeing that, Nat took out a tissue from her pocket and helped y/n blow her nose and wiped the tears from her eyes. Now Tony had a whole new plan in his head other then just letting y/n go shopping with Nat for toys and such. Y/n needed just about everything to have the most normal life she could from that day forward. And now after this night, he was set on ensuring that y/n would stay safe with the Avengers.
