The following morning, Yn woke up slowly with a small whine as she tossed for a second. Her eyes fluttered open while yawning and her arms stretched over her head in the bed. Looking around for a moment, a pout formed on her lips as she noticed Loki was no where to be seen.

"Daddy?" She whimpered slightly before sliding out of the large bed, hanging onto the bottom of her shirt. She pattered across the floor that was cold on her bare feet towards the door and opened it slowly. Yn peaked her head out and looked both ways to see nobody, causing her eyes to well up with small tears. She still didn't know Asgard very well and made herself a little scared.

"Its not that scary right? I can be a big girl... right?" She mumbled to herself before letting out a small yelp as she heard something down the hall where she couldn't see. Yn quickly shut the door and ran to hide under the bed instead of in it. She crawled right under trying to stay calm as tears fell from her eyes and whispered to herself. "there is no monsters... there is no monsters." The bedroom door slowly opened as she whined just lightly watching a pair of feet enter the room. Yn covered her mouth with her hands as she watched the person's feet leave the room, leaving the door open.

After a few minutes, Yn got the courage to come out of hiding and stood up. She looked down to she her clothing a little dirty from her hiding spot but didn't care in the moment. Yn went over to one of her bags that was brought from Earth and went to dig around. She yanked out her much-loved Buttercup, the teddy Loki had left for her and hugged him close to her chest for comfort. She felt a little safer with him in her arms. Whimpering quietly into the bear she went for the door again and slowly poked her head back out. Seeing no one there, she gulped and started to patter down the hallway, keeping her small frame close to the walls. Her hands gripped to Buttercup tightly wondering around the large palace. Not really knowing where she was going, all she knew in the moment that she just wanted to find someone she knew. Yn started to whisper to Buttercup randomly as she slowly made her way around.

"I need to find daddy buttercup, or Sparky... This place is scary without them..." She went on until she jumped with fright and fell backwards onto her bum, letting out a little screech. Blinking for a moment, her eyes looked up to meet with a pair of green eyes that she could never forget. A comforting smell hit her nose as her eyes started to well up with tears and her arms with Buttercup still in hand, reached upwards. Loki chuckled softly as he picked up his little girl and hugged her close to his chest.

"Now, now little love, what ever are you doing?" He whispered softly as he gently patted her hair back into place as she sniffled into his shoulder.

"I... I woke u-up and no... no one w-was there... I was sc-scared!" Yn sobbed into him, earning another small chuckle out of Loki who just shook his head and kissed her cheek softly.

"Don't worry, little one. I am always here" he started before his eyes moved to the bear in Yn's tight grip and smiled. "Remember, I can hear you always through Buttercup. You only must talk to him, to talk to me." Yn looked up to Loki as she sniffled, and he wiped her tears away as she nodded. Loki poked her nose gently as she smiled softly with a small giggle before she was put down on her feet. Yn grabbed onto Loki's hand, with Buttercup in her other arm and was lead through the hallways into another room.

Her eyes went wide as she stopped in her tracks as Loki brought her to one of his favorite spots in the palace. A giant room with books that covered every inch of the walls and all the way up the ceilings, along with books scattered around the floors and tables. Loki smiled down to her before leading her into the room and sat her onto a sofa. Loki told her to stay put for a moment before he wondered off into the sea of books looking for something. Yn was still in awe looking around wondering what the books were about, and if any of them had pictures she could look at. Already forgetting what Loki had told her, within seconds, Yn was off the sofa and found herself in a pile of books, picking them up and looking through them. Some of them did have pictures in them, and she saw some that had looked like Odin, some that looked like Thor and Loki and a few others she had briefly met, and some she didn't know.
