Loki's Little (Loki x FemReader)

Twelve.

The next few weeks were a bit tough for Yn as she was learning how to fight proper with the help from Nat, Steve and sometimes Thor. Loki always kept his mouth shut, but ensured he was in the same room to watch over her and make sure that she was okay. He even learned to bite his tongue when she ends up with a few bruises here and there, Loki understood it was for her own good. All while, he wanted to keep his lovely little one safe with him. Yn grew stronger and had become more comfortable being in a big mindset around the team, even no one really cared, and they just wanted her to be happy and healthy. Though in little space, she would always put her best foot forward and the team would adjust what they were going to do to teach her.

Big space was saved for actual fighting, and working with weapons and little space was to learn the theory in a fun way and stretching and working out in a different sense. Even if it meant chasing someone around with a foam sword. It got her moving in the end. Yn enjoyed every second of it and had felt like she was doing something instead of feeling like she was there, and every one saw that and made things easier with the team.

One day all the alarms had gone off, and everyone started running around like headless chickens trying to figure out what was happening. Until Tony told everyone to shut up, sit down and listen and they did.

Tony cleared his throat and looked to who was there that day, Nat, Steve, Vision, Thor, Loki and naturally Yn.

"Alright guys, there has been word that Hydra has a new weapon that they are planning to set off. We have been called to get ride of it." He spoke blandly, like he didn't really want to do it and wanted to do something else.

There was a moment of silence before Nat spoke up. "So, what's the plan?"

"We get in, either blow up the weapon or take it" Tony said with a smirk. Deep down he voted to take it since he was going in the end.

Within a few minutes a plan was set, Tony, Steve and Nat would go. There was a debate regarding Yn going, naturally Loki didn't want her to but everyone else thought she was ready. So they left it to her.

"I'm going" Yn said eagerly as everyone, but Loki smiled.

"No, you're not ready, love." Loki said as he stood in front of her and looked down to her. She huffed her cheeks out as she tried to stand taller than she was.

"Yes I am."

"No" He paused for a moment before he lost his cool, and gently placed his hands on her shoulders before he looked into her eyes. "What if you slip while fighting?" He asked what everyone else was thinking in the back of their minds. Thinking it over for a second, Yn shaked her head.

"Loki, I need to go. I need to be able to show what I can do." Yn said softly as she gave him a small smile. "It will only help me get stronger if I'm to protect the light of my people better, and my home here." Loki furrowed his brows as he shaked his head and left the room without a word, though she knew he hated this idea very much. More so at the fact he wasn't going, as the rest of them figured it would be best if he stayed. It did break her heart a bit, but she still got onto a jet with the team, and they head off.

A little while later, the jet landed in a clearing of trees in the middle of nowhere. They all had a plan in place, and it was time for Yn to put her powers to the real test. Nat and Steve went towards the back of the Hydra base, Tony took to the skies and Yn was to stay a bit away as her powers had the reach. While Tony watched from the air unnoticed, Nat and Steve sneaked in, swiftly taking down anyone that got in there way. From a far, Yn had her eyes closed as took a few deep breaths in and out, her skin began to glow that white color as the ground beneath her started to light up and slowly disappear as it reached further from her. Yn's head tilted as she could see what was in the ground as the light traveled, she had learned how to see with it but not let others see it. It was a very handy trick to have, more so in this situation.
