I smirk as one of the guy was on the floor, dead, blood all over the carpet. Thought he could take me, fucking asshole. I don't think twice before I shot the other four but I make sure I don't aim high enough to kill them, instead i aim at their feet causing them all to fall
I rush over to nandini to see her passed out, I know she got scared and the bullet sound probably sent her over the edge, I pick her up in my arms kissing her head, I said I wouldn't let anything happen to her and I won't
"The next time you come marching in my house trying to take my wife, think again but hey guess what you'll have pretty of time to think when you are tied up with you boss" I say walking out of the room
I rush down and out of the house to see Max right there, he had everything done, I didn't even need to say anything, he quickly opens the gate of the car for me
"Upstairs, get them to the basement and make sure that one fucker who I killed is buried deep within the god damn sees, he touched my wife"
"Done" max says as I sit in the car
"Is she okay?" Cabir asks as he starts driving
"She fainted" I whisper cleaning up the blood from her hand, it wasn't hers, it was the guy I shot
"What did you do?" Navya asks
"Killed that fucker, you should be happy I didn't kill the rest of them. He fucking touched her and he threw her on the floor" I growl being pissed off
"She is okay"
"She is but you don't know how hard she was sobbing. What if I didn't get there on time?" I mumble kissing her head
She looked peaceful but fuck, I hate that she is unconscious, it's making my heart burn so bad right now. I am glad I got home when I did because shit if she was alone I would have burned the entire place down to get her safe
"She is okay" navya repeats
"She saw me shooting that guy" I whisper caressing her head
"doesn't matter" cabir says
"She said she loves me" I whisper again as tears form in my eyes despite me trying to not let it happen
"She does love you, her eyes speak volumes manik" navya says
"I almost lost her today" I utter not to anyone but to myself
"You didn't, she is okay"
"I almost lost her" the reality sinks in
I almost fucking lost her today, I could have lost her today. What if I didn't get there on time? What If she didn't call me crying? What if I didn't up my phone?
"She is fine, she is a tough girl manik"
"Cabir don't you fucking get it, I ALMSOT FUCKING LOST HER TODAY" I scream
"Relax, she needs to see a doctor" he says when we get to our other house
I run up to our room laying her on the bed, the doctor who was waiting checks on her right away, he takes vitals and all that while I pace in the room
"She is fine mr malhotra, she fainted due to exhaustion and shock. She should be up in a couple hours, I have given her a few vitamins through an iv" he says injecting her with the syringe
"Be careful, it better not fucking hurt her" I mumble to the doctor
"She is unconscious" he chuckles
"I don't give a shit, it better not hurt her" I scream this time
