Jane and her adventurous companions embarked on a captivating journey through the enchanting woods, immersing themselves in the beauty of nature for countless hours.

As their energy waned, they decided to pause for a brief respite, finding solace in a serene spot where they could rest and rejuvenate for a mere five minutes.

Annalise's eyes gleamed with curiosity as she proposed, "Why don't we venture into the heart of the city?" Jane's gaze met hers, filled with a mix of caution and concern. "The city," she whispered, her voice trembling. "It's teeming with shadows, lurking assassins in every corner. Our lives would be in grave danger."

Annalise playfully teased, "You and Amy are like a dynamic duo, almost like assassins." Amy smirked and responded, "Assassin? I'm the antidote." Amy replied.

Jane chimed in, "I'm definitely not an assassin. If I were, you all would've been toast!" Her words grabbed everyone's attention. Brian added, "You're something even greater, Jane. We just haven't quite figured out what yet." Jane's face lit up with a smile, appreciating Brian's words of support.

"We need food so we have to go into the city." Jacob said.

Jane expressed her concern, "It's been five years since I went into the city. How do you know everything isn't just rotten, Jacob?"

Jacob responded, "Food isn't all we need. We also need supplies in case of an assassin attack, especially from Celestine."

Aria chimed in, acknowledging Celestine's powers, "Celestine is formidable. We're no match for her."

Jane reassured them, "I may have powers too, but I have no intention of getting involved. I'll focus on protecting myself."

"Jane," Annalise exclaimed, her voice filled with conviction, "you possess incredible powers that can protect all of us from the looming threat of assassins."

Jane's frustration surged as she retorted, "But Annalise, you seem to forget that I have absolutely no knowledge of how to harness these powers. They appear and disappear without any control."

Annalise locked eyes with Jane, their gaze holding a mixture of understanding and contemplation, as they both processed the weight of Jane's words.

"Then figure it out," Jacob chimed in. Jane glanced at him, her expression filled with uncertainty. "I don't even know where to begin," she confessed. Jacob offered a simple yet powerful response, "Just give it a try, Jane. You might surprise yourself."

"I think I have an idea that could help," Brian exclaimed. Intrigued, Jane asked, "How? What's your plan?" Brian replied, "First, we need to find a suitable place, and then I'll share the details with you."

_______________

"Alright, let's stop here," Brian suggested as they continued walking. "Sounds good," Jane agreed. "We're going for a walk," Jacob announced, leading the way with Annalise, Amy, and Aria following closely behind.

"I'm gonna teach you how to fight." Brian suddenly told her.

"Whoa, Brian!" Jane exclaimed, her eyes widening in surprise as she absorbed his words. The unexpectedness of his statement caught her off guard.

"I never expected that," she said, her voice filled with a mix of curiosity and uncertainty.

Trying to make sense of it all, she asked, "So, to truly harness and control my unique abilities, we need to explore different avenues? And you're going to teach me how to fight?" she inquired, seeking further clarification from Brian.

Jane's curiosity piqued, and she eagerly awaited Brian's response. With a smile, Brian reassured her, "Learning how to fight will not only help you tap into your abilities but also give you the confidence and skills to protect yourself. We'll start with the basics and gradually build up your techniques."

"We'll begin with some fundamental training exercises," he continued. "I'll teach you different fighting styles and techniques tailored to your abilities."

Brian's voice filled with excitement as he shared the thrilling details with Jane. "Jane, there are a multitude of fighting styles out there, like boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Taekwondo. But let me tell you, I've mastered Muay Thai, and it's truly something else. It was during a heart-pounding encounter with an assassin that I put my skills to the test. With lightning-fast strikes and unwavering focus, I took down the threat without even a scratch."

Curiosity shining in her eyes, Jane asked, "Who taught you such incredible skills, Brian?" Brian's voice softened as he replied, "It was my brother. He's a true master of the art." Jane's face lit up with determination as she reassured him, "You'll find him, Brian. I just know it. Together, we'll uncover the truth and bring your brother back into your life."

Brian's voice carried a sense of determination as he explained his intentions to Jane. "Kayla, I want to make it clear that my goal isn't to turn you into a professional fighter. I'm here to teach you the essential movements that can help you protect yourself. It's important to note that mastering Muay Thai can take anywhere from 3 to 5 years of dedicated practice."

Jane's response was filled with determination as she mentioned the need to take down Victor and the guard. However, Brian paused for a moment, his voice filled with sincerity. "Jane, I want to emphasize that my intention is not to teach you how to kill. My purpose is to equip you with the skills to protect yourself in any situation. It's about self-defense, not aggression. Your safety is my priority."

Jane's voice was filled with determination and a hint of sadness as she shared her deep-seated need for justice. "Brian, it's crucial that you grasp the magnitude of my mission to avenge my parents' untimely demise," she expressed, her words carrying the weight of her emotions. In response, Brian's eyes met hers, conveying a profound understanding and empathy.

"I hear you, Jane . I understand your desire to seek justice and avenge your parents' death." It's a deeply personal and emotional journey. Brian's sympathetic look shows that he understands the pain she's going through.

"Now let's work on your stance."Brian smiled as he said.
