Chapter 10: Back to 1955

Saturday November 12th 1955
6:00AM

Suddenly in a flash of light The DeLorean suddenly appeared out of the night sky and then it landed in the site that would later become Lyon Estates and they then parked the Time Machine behind the same billboard Marty and Chris hid it in the first time they arrived in 1955

Oh this is heavy! said Marty as he got out of the car

very heavy, It's like we were just here yesterday said Chris

You were here, Chris you were, amazing isn't it?, alright sunrise should be in about 22 minutes said Doc

Doc then opened the trunk of the DeLorean, and got some supplies they needed for their mission which included a walkie talkies, two sets of binoculars and a briefcase

You two go into town, track down Young Biff and tail him Doc instructed

Sometime today Old Biff will show up to give Young Biff the almanac, above all you must not interfere with that event, we must let Old Biff believe he's succeeded so that he'll leave 1955 and bring the DeLorean back to the future said Doc

Right said Marty

Once Old Biff is gone, grab the almanac any way that you can, remember all of our futures depend on this said Doc

You don't have to remind us of that, Doc said Chris

Here's a pair of binoculars and a walkie-talkie so we can keep in contact said Doc as he them a pair a binoculars and a walkie-talkie

Wait what are you gonna do? Chris asked

I'll stay here and try and repair the short in the time circuits, that way we don't risk anyone else stealing the time machine and I won't risk accidentally running into my other self said Doc

Your other self? Marty and Chris asked

Yes, there are now two of me here, and there are now two of both of you here Doc said to Marty and Chris

Wait a minute Doc, there's two of me and two of Marty here? Chris asked Doc

Exactly!, the other me is the Dr. Emmett Brown from 1955, the other me that helps the other you and Marty get back to 1985 Doc explained to Chris and Marty

You remember the lightning bolt at the clock tower? Doc asked Marty and Chris

Yeah Marty answered

that event doesn't happen until tonight, so you and your brother must be very careful not to run into your other selves said Doc

Doc then his briefcase which was full of dollar bills from different time periods from the 1800's all the way up to present day in 1985, Doc then got some money out of the 1955 column and gave it to Marty and Chris so they could buy some disguises

Got to be prepared for a monetary possibilities, got yourselves some 50's clothes said Doc

Check Doc said Marty as he took the cash

Something inconspicuous! Doc said as Marty and Chris followed the road into town

Marty and Doc walked down the road into town it was now almost 9:30AM by the time they arrived, as they walked through 1955 Hill Valley they walked into a store that sold clothes from the era, Marty got a black leather jacket, sunglasses and a black fedora hat as for Chris he got a navy blue overcoat and sunglasses it wasn't their best disguises but Doc did tell them to get something inconspicuous.

After they paid for everything they walked out the store as they walked down the street into the town square they suddenly saw their other selves with their father across the street and quickly hid behind a '51 Hudson Hornet car as the other Marty, other Chris and their father George McFly cross the street and enter a tux shop, they looked in the window as their other selves and George were picking their attire for The Enchantment Under the Sea Dance which would take place later tonight, they saw their father come out of the dressing rooms wearing the white suit he would wear later tonight

W-what do you think?, do you like it? George asked

Oh yeah you look great George said the other Marty

Yeah I like that suit on you than I did on James Bond said the other Chris

James who? George asked confused

Nothing, anyway come on Marty let's pick out our suits for the dance said the other Chris

Marty and Chris then walked away focusing on their mission they needed to find Biff, they then remembered how they found's Doc's address when the first landed in 1955, Lou's Diner in the phone book they could find Biff's address in the book, the boys ran across the street to Lou's Dinner as they walked into the diner they saw Goldie Wilson setting up the chairs and Lou wiping the counters as the place wouldn't open until 10AM.

Hey If you kids want a bite to eat, you're going to have to come back in an hour, we're not open yet said Lou

Oh we're not hungry, we just want to use your phone said Marty

It's in the back said Lou

Thanks sir Chris said

Marty and Chris then straight for the phone booth and started skimming through the pages of the phone book to the T section, until they finally found young Biff Tannen's address he lived at 1809 Mason Street, Marty then got out his walkie-talkie to tell Doc the news

Doc come in, we've found Biff's address, over said Marty into the walkie-talkie

Roger Marty, how goes the mission so far? Doc asked

Well we almost had a run in with our other selves and our dad but we managed to hide before they could see us said Chris

"Good, remember if your other self sees you-"

then it will create a time paradox, we know said Chris

Alright you boys head over to Biff's and be careful said Doc

We will Doc, over and out said Marty

Marty and Chris then approached Golden Wilson who was mopping the floors to ask him for directions

Excuse me Mr. Wilson, do you know where Mason Street is? Chris asked

Oh sure, it's on the west side of town two blocks past Stoltz Avenue said Goldie

Thanks said Marty

Marty and Chris then left the diner and followed the directions they were given and headed straight to Biff's house.
