While staying at the infirmary, Daki and Y/N were joined by Nakime, who heard of the incident and went to check on the silver-haired girl. The dark-haired student also informed her friends both Kawaii and Gyutaro had been sent to the guidance counselor, where they would give their version of the story.
"Knowing that shifty attention whore, she'll make me appear as the bad guy. I was just trying to make my brother open his eyes, but... the more I explained, the angrier he got. Never imagined he'd go as far as to hit me, though..."
"Just say that when you'll be asked to tell your own side. Kawaii's been at the center of a lot of problems lately, you can probably get out of this easily if you don't lose your temper. With some luck, she may be suspected of riling Gyutaro up."
"That won't happen. He'll defend her and take all the blame in case they can't get anything against me."
"... should we get rid of her?"
"Nakime!!"
The dark-haired student turned to Y/N, showing a perfectly innocent expression. The h/c girl sighed, noticing Daki was deep in thoughts, probably considering putting an end to Kawaii's life.
"First, don't say those kinds of things in a public place... you're lucky the nurse left. Second, don't kill people in general. Finally, if you really have to do it, then I have nothing to do with any of this."
"Don't worry, Y/N. We'll make sure no evidence is left and we'd never bring you down with us."
"... you're not serious about it, are you?"
The two girls merely smiled, sending chills down Y/N's spine. While her morals prevented her from condoning murder, the darkest part of her mind was actually on board with her friends' intentions. The only thing stopping Y/N was the fact she had a premonition something terrible would occur should they carry out their plan.
"Not only she has a cheat card like me, but there's also the issue of who's chaperoning her. From what the helper system said, they're way more present and invested in this universe than Orion... if they decide to interfere, things may turn ugly."
"Fine, we won't do anything drastic... for now. However, we can't let her do as she wishes."
"Just avoid her, along with Gyutaro and Kaigaku. I know it's not the best option, but they're obviously getting too dangerous. The only thing we can do is wait it out..."
