"All right, team, I've got my eye on the targets. I'll cover you from up the-- Hey, Keith, I had that guy!" Lance whined.

As Keith ran towards the Galra robot soldiers, holding his knife in his hand as he charged towards them as Lance closed the door to block the entrance for Hunk as he watched Romelle destroy several Galra bots with her whip.

"Well, that was awesome!" Lance said.

Lance was a skilled fighter, but he was also a bit of a show-off. He loved to be the center of attention, and he always wanted to be the one to take down the bad guys. But in this case, Keith had beaten him to the punch. Keith was a natural leader, and he was always the first one to charge into battle. He was also a skilled fighter, and he was able to take down the Galra robot soldiers with ease.

Lance was impressed by Keith's skills, but he was also a little bit jealous. He wanted to be the one who was always saving the day, but it seemed like Keith was always one step ahead of him. But even though Lance was jealous, he knew that he could always count on Keith to have his back. They were a team, and they would always be there for each other, no matter what.

As the others, along with Romelle, went to the main hub. Shiro and Keith use your shields to block the fire from the soldiers. Pidge started getting her work done while Hunk fired at the soldiers from behind Shiro. He took down a few, but there's still more robot soldiers firing at

Shiro and the others.

"Pidge, could you maybe hurry it up a little?" Hunk questioned, glancing at her.

"Almost..." She mumbled, you could hear electric beeping. "There!"

Everyone dropped their shields when everything powered down. The soldiers fell onto the floor and Lance joined up with everyone.

"Great job, Pidge," Keith said.

"That's the last outpost in this quadrant," Pidge informed.

"Call the Blade of Marmora," Keith informed. "Let them know that this base is cleared."

Back at the shrine of lions, Romelle and Coran were looking at the monitor which was displaying a live feed of the battle between the rebels of Altea and the Galra Empire. The two were tense, as they knew that the fate of the planet rested on the outcome of this battle.

"I can't believe it's come to this," Romelle said. "All of this fighting, all of this death...it's just so senseless."

"I know," Coran said. "But it's too late to turn back now. All we can do is hope that the rebels are victorious."

Shiro sighed as he sat on his bed, looking up at Keith. "I don't know," he said honestly. "I've been trying to figure it out myself, but I just can't seem to make sense of it."

Keith sat down next to him, his expression concerned. "What do you mean?" he asked. "What don't you know?"

Shiro shook his head. "I don't know anything," he said. "I don't know what happened to the Garrison, or why we're here, or what we're supposed to do."

Keith frowned. "But we have to do something," he said. "We can't just sit here and wait for something to happen."

Shiro nodded. "I know," he said. "But I don't know what that something is."

They sat in silence for a few minutes, each lost in their own thoughts. Finally, Keith spoke up. "Maybe we should just go back to sleep," he said. "Maybe we'll figure it out in the morning."

Shiro sighed again. "Maybe," he said. "But I don't think so."

He stood up and walked over to the window. He looked out at the stars, shining brightly in the night sky. "I think we're in over our heads," he said.
