After Keith left, Pidge was still on their solo mission for a day, as she was sitting in her seat in deep thought, thinking of Miles, her brother. Miles was the older brother of Pidge who was captured and was used by the Galra, mostly by Haggar, Zarkon's witch and now rebels have rescued him. Now, Pidge was wondering how Miles was doing. Was he okay? Was he adjusting to being back on Altea? Pidge missed her brother terribly and she couldn't wait to see him again.
Pidge also thought about what Keith had said to her before he left. He had told her that she needed to focus on the mission and that she couldn't let her personal feelings get in the way. Pidge knew that Keith was right, but it was hard to focus on the mission when she was so worried about her brother.
Pidge took a deep breath and tried to clear her mind. She knew that she needed to focus on the mission if she wanted to find Miles and bring him home safely.
"Pidge, I don't like the idea of you going alone. Are you sure you don't need backup?" Shiro asked.
"I'm sure." Pidge answered, "The intel that shopkeeper gave me leads me to believe they could pull out their location at any time."
"This may be my only chance, so we need to act fast." Pidge added, "Also, all of you have enough to do on Aurs."
"You're right. Good luck." Shiro wished.
"Hey, while you're out, will you look for some more fluuto beans?" Hunk asked.
"No, no, no! No more beans for Hunk!" Lance shouted.
"Gotta go." Pidge laughed at the two boys and cut off the transmission.
After that, Pidge and Kiaion arrived at a small island where it was rundown, so much so that Pidge grabbed a couple of cloaks to not give away their identities.
Pidge pulled up a map to her next location. It led her to the shady portion of the city where most of the worse or worse go to play and shop.
Pidge led her and Kiaion to an old abandoned factory shack. Pidge looked over at Kiaion and said, "Are you ready to see the show?"
Kiaion smirked and nodded before we went in. When she opened the door, the first thing they saw was the old useless machines and shelves.
The place was covered in dust and everything was a mess. Yep! This was the right place.
They went down to the back of the building, the sound of distant clanking keeping us alert and wary.
They walked around and found ourselves on the way back to the building, and that's when we saw him.
He was a shaggy alien with four arms, a skinny body and dressed in rags and wraps on the battom half of his body. "Shop's closed," he said.
"I'm just looking for directions to a show, I heard it's explosive." Pidge said.
The alien looked at us with an amusing expression. "So you're the one looking for the nano-thermite titanium-boron? Very expensive. Difficult to procure, I assure you."
"Keep it." Pidge smirked
The alien grew a little frustrated, "You're backing out of our agreement?"
"Altering it, in your favor. I'll still give you the money, but, in return, you tell me who is in this video and where to find them." Pidge pulled up the small video of her brother escaping from a Galra cell.
"Why would I know those people?" The alien said, took only one look.
"Because they used nano-thermite titanium-boron, and you're the only one in this section of the planet that seems to be selling it." Pidge said.
