Chapter 1.

I woke early today because it's my birthday. Yayy(sarcasm). My uncle and aunt never let me rest not even on my birthday. All they do is not beat me that day. I guess I should be grateful.
I got up and got dressed as I walked out of my room.
I went to get the mail.(I do it every Saturday) Surprisingly there was mail addressed to me?!. I was extremely intrigued by this.the following was written:

Dear Y/n, We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1.

At first a thought that this was a prank but then I remembered all those weird things happening around me. I began to believe that it was really a place. But then I realised that my uncle and aunt would never let me go. It was at that moment that I decided to run away.

Some of the items written in the list were impossible for me to get as I had no idea what I was doing.

Time skip to dinner

I went down to cook dinner. Then I saw uncle and aunt all dressed up to go out.
They saw me and said that,"We are going to restaurant to eat. We have decided that it is fine if you eat dinner today. You need to cook it for yourself of course."

I was bursting with excitement as it had been weeks if not months since I had dinner. I was only getting one meal after around 2-3 days.

After they went out, I began cooking.
As I took my plate and sat down at the table I heard a knock at the door. I went to see who it was.

I was quite surprised to see not my aunt but a giant man with extremely bushy hair and beard.

I asked him why he was here. He said that he wants to talk to someone named y/n l/n. I was soo surprised!. I told him that I was y/n. He then asked me if my uncle and aunt were at home. I said they were not. He then said that he wanted to talk to them about HOGWARTS!! I told him not to bother as they would immediately refuse and probably beat me later. He was surprised at that last part.

I told him that I was going to make an attempt to run away when they went out. He said that he would help me. I was taken aback at this but I gave him a warm smile and a bear hug. He hugged me back.

He said that I should be ready on the night of 30th September as the next day we would be leaving and before that we had to get all of the books and materials required for school.

I thanked him again and again and he said that he was glad to help. I hugged him once more and he was on his way.
