Chapter 1

It was Saturday morning; 9:30 AM on July 8th, 2012 to be exact. My family and I had just finished eating breakfast. Things during breakfast were going fine, quite well actually. The rest of the morning went fine too, we went to the mall, ate at some amazing buffet for lunch and got home and Hope made A-M-A-Z-I-N-G strawberry banana smoothies! But that was the good part of my day… It was at night where it all happened.

It was 8:30 PM and my mom and I got into some really intense fight about something stupid; why I couldn’t go to the movies with my best friend Emma to be exact. I got really mad, so I stormed off into my room and slammed the door. I lied down onto my bed and started to imagine running away. I wondered who would come to my funeral once I died, who would care, who would visit my grave and feel sorrow, who would be hurt the most, who would come to my funeral that I never imagined would come and so much more. I figured that I’d never be able to see who would; I’m not all into that spirit stuff.

Then, it struck me. I had such an ingenious, but evil plan. Something that no one had ever thought of. It would be a tragic event, but of course I’d return. I ran over to my walk-in closet and touched the shiny silver handle and thought for a moment.

“Is this really the right thing to do?” I thought. I ignored my thoughts and continued into my closet. I pulled out my biggest suitcase and laid it out open on my bed. Then, I ran back into my closet and scammed through all my clothes and pulled out my top 15 favorite outfits. Then, I pulled out a bunch of random mix-match pieces and accessories. Hey, I needed to look fashionable!

Then, I took my 5 most worn shoes; my Steve Madden combat boots, my tall chestnut Uggs, my Minnetonka moccasins, my riding boots and my black Converse high tops. I then folded and crammed my clothes into my suitcase. I then ran into my bathroom and grabbed shampoo, conditioner, my flat iron, a brush, my toothbrush, my favorite perfume and all the other needed beauty products. I figured that I’d packed everything I needed so I started to plan for tomorrow morning.

My plan was to wake up at 5 AM, eat a quick breakfast and start my journey. Somewhere close, but far away. Somewhere secretive, but not uncommon. I had the perfect place, everyone knew, but no one would ever guess. It would be an old wooden tree house in the woods, right outside the park. Only my family and some close friends knew about it. But, if someone came to look for me, they’d probably find me.

Sorry for the awkward ending... I just felt like I needed to end it here. Comment what you think!
