(Willow's POV):
Amaya and I were fighting side-by-side against the cyclopses, firing arrows as quickly as we could at the monsters.
There was now only one remaining, which happened to be the largest, and meanest, of them all.
The female cyclops was towering over a large group of hunters, ready to smash them to a pulp with her club, but before that could happen, Amaya grabbed my wrist, and before I knew it, everything was suddenly dark.
When I could see again, the two of us were now standing behind the monster, which confused me for a moment, but I quickly realized that Amaya had shadow traveled us here to stop the cyclops before it could do more damage to the hunters.
Amaya and I both notched arrows, aiming them at the monster's back, before letting them fly.
Both arrows hit a their marks, which happened to be the back of the monster's neck. The cyclops paused for a moment before turning to dust, her club falling to the ground.
All the hunters had used the moment of hesitation from the cyclops to move out of the way and notch arrows, drawing their bowstrings back to fire them, only for there to longer be a target standing there.
All the hunters lowered their bows, looking down at the fallen club and monster dust before looking to Amaya and I.
"Uhm, sorry, I panicked." Amaya said quietly. "What do thy mean sorry? Thee were able to take down the monster when even us hunters failed." Zoë praised. "Thanks Zoë." I smiled.
"We must head back to camp to care for our wounded now. We shall speak on this later." Artemis decided. We all nodded and collected the intact arrows and picked up the four injured girls to head back to camp.
"Hang on," Amaya stopped one of the hunters who was carrying the most heavily wounded of the four girls. "I might be able to bring her to camp faster." The huntress seemed skeptical, but handed the girl over nonetheless.
I could see the look on Amaya's face, she was mentally getting ready to shadow travel.
I worried for the girl, she had just shadow traveled the two of us, doing it again might drain her too much. But, knowing Amaya, even if I tried talking her out of it she would just do it anyways.
I watched as she took a deep breath and stepped backwards into the shadows, disappearing along with the hunter that she held in her grasp.
The rest of the hunters and I made our way back to camp, climbing the hill back up to where the campsite was hidden.
I saw Amaya leaving what I assumed was the healer's tent. She looked over to the hill, scanning the group, before her eyes landed on me.
My best friend smiled sleepily at me as I quickly made my way over, quickly engulfing her in a hug. "Amaya, you did it!" I grinned, releasing her and taking a step back. "Yeah... I suppose I did..." Amaya smiled softly.
Something seemed off though, her words were slurred slightly and her eyelids kept drooping. She suddenly collapsed, falling towards the ground.
I quickly surged forward, catching my best friend before she could hit the ground, "Hey, I need some help over here!" I called over to the hunters, hoping someone could check on Amaya to see if she was okay.
Phoebe made her way over, crouching down next to me as I sat on the grassy floor, holding Amaya in my arms, "What happened with Amaya?" The huntress asked me.
I explained to Phoebe how Amaya had shadow traveled the both of us behind the cyclops to shoot it down, and how she had then taken the injured huntress back to camp via shadow travel. I also explained how the two of us have only been using our powers for a few weeks and that Amaya shadow traveling that much with two people in a short span of time would sap all her energy away.
Phoebe listened closely to what I was saying, not interrupting me once while I explained everything to her. "It seems that Amaya simply needs some rest. Let's take her back to the two of your guys' tent so she can rest there."
I collected my best friend in my arms before standing up slowly, making sure not to harm, or drop her.
We made our way across camp to the tent that Amaya, Oakley, and I shared, opening the flap with my foot before saying goodbye to Phoebe and stepping inside.
I walked over to the pile of pillows that we had on the floor, which we used as a spot to hangout in while inside the tent that wasn't our cots, and laid Amaya down on her back, resting her head on a pillow and draping a blanket over her.
I took a spot on the floor a few feet away, keeping watch over my friend while she slept.
While I sat there, watching over Amaya, I felt something poke me in the back, something sharp.
Turning around, I saw that it was Luna who had poked me. She stood on the floor, giving me a look that said 'what did you do?'. I just rolled my eyes at the crow, turning my body to face her fully.
"Luna, I didn't do anything this time!" She just stared at me, blinking slowly, "I swear! Amaya shadow traveled two people twice in a row and exhausted herself, that's it." I insisted.
"Fine, fine. I'll let you off the hook, but only this once." Luna told me strictly, "You promised to protect her, remember? You both promised to protect the other at all costs, never forget that."
I sighed, smiling lightly, "I know, Luna. I know."
I spent the next half-hour recounting to Ash, Luna, and Zada what all went down during the battle, and once I was finished, Amaya began to stir.

Author Speaks!
I know this is a short chapter but it's only because I last minute decided to write this. Originally it was just going to jump straight into Amaya waking up but I decided to add in Willow's POV of the events that took place in between! Love you guys! Have a good day/night, drink some water and eat some food for me! ☺️
