1D Meets the Assassin

"The only places you haven't looked is Greenland, Russia, and Antartica?" I asked Dillion. It had been months since Katara had gone MIA.

"Yea, I'm sending people to look in Russia. Well, Jonas is anyways."

"I'll go look for Pyro and Shadow."

"Thanks."

I left the room. How would I find thse two ninjas? It hit me. Pyro loves Pocky. I checked some of the Wal-Mart stores to find a rash of Pocky thefts. I followed their trail to where they would most likely be. Why were they in Washington? I flew out in my awesome helicopter. I saw them walking northwards. I dropped a net on them and flew off with them in it. Pyro shot some fire at the rope. The rope happened to be fire proof. I flew it all of the way back to the base. Grinning, I carefully dropped them into..... the pool. The helicopter landed. I got out and dodged a star from Shadow, a bullet from Chris, and some fire from Pyro. Then, Pyro recognized me.

"VEE!" She screamed.

"Hello Pyro." I laughed lightly.

"Who the h*** is he?" Chris asked.

"Vee?" Pyro replied questioningly.

"Why did he take us back here?"

"I dunno. OH MY GOSH! THE SKY IS GREEN!"

"No it isn't."

"I wasn't talking to you."

"Pyro. Calm down. Think fire." I told her.

Dillion ran out. "You guys need to come on! We think we found her!"

"Where?" Chris asked.

"Greenland. Pack something warm."

They all took off. I just grabbed my duffel bag out of the helicopter. He led me to a room that had Jonas, Raven, Pyro, Shadow, and Chris in it. Without a word, Jonas led us to a private jet. We flew in silence. The plane touched down. Pyro began to melt all of the ice in a fifty foot radius. We walked forward quietly. Every second counted if we were to go undetected. A gray building, covered in snow, appeared in front of us. Dillion walked forward with a metal disk. He handed it to me. I nodded and turned invisible. I planted the bomb and left. Dillion triggered it. A large explosion rang out and the building erupted. We ran through and began looking for Katara. Pieces of gray rock landed around me, but I didn't care. Everyone began digging through the rubble. I looked around to see a corner still standing, and something was in it's shadow. I went over to investigate. A girl layed there limply. I gently turned her onto her back to see if it was Katara. It was. Her breath made a cloud in the air, proving that she wasn't dead. I picked her up bridal style.

"I found her!" I yelled.

People ran over as I laid her on the blanket that Raven had laid out. Chris gently pushed her shoulder. She didn't move. Her face had severe bruising, ranging from light green to a dark purple. From what you could see of her arms and legs, at least 85% of her body was covered in bruises.

"Kat?" Pyro whispered softly.

"Pyro-" Shadow started, but couldn't seem to finish the thought.

Pyro screamed in fury. "WHAT DID THEY DO TO HER?"

"We don't-" Jonas started.

"TELL ME!"

I pulled her arms behind her back before she could attack him. "Pyro, calm down."

"I AM CALM!"

"No. You aren't."

"LET ME GO!"
