Mia tried her best to concentrate on work but her mind kept wandering off to Kirill, she had to consistently bring it back to reality. She had no way of getting in touch with him and didn't know where he was but she was sure he knew everything about her.

As Thursday rolled around, neither Kirill nor Danila had seen her and she sat in her office and smiled at how Kirill was playing hard to get now. The same way he did in New York all those years ago, he only gave her a taste, and then disappeared for days.

She got a text on her phone from an unknown number but knew it was Danila.

Danila:
What did Amara say?

Mia:
She said she is down. But Isabella also wants to join.

Danila:
Both? At the same time?

Mia:
If you want.

Danila:
Ok. I will get in touch with them. Thank you:)

Mia:
Np:)

Mia smiled at the text as she thought about what would happen between them all. She just hoped the girls wouldn't tell her too many details. She received another text right away, and her heart jumped into her heels hoping it was Kirill but no, it was Bill and she felt so disappointed. This is the worst, she thought.

She recognized her feelings and knew she was going down the road Kirill had set up for her. No. She was going to keep dating Bill and live her life, she was stubborn.

On the way home from work, Mia stopped at a different coffee shop than last weekend but once she ordered, she saw Kirill sitting there, reading a book. Her entire body flaming up in excitement from seeing him, she timidly approached him and asked,

"Are you stalking me?"

"Excuse me?" He reluctantly looked up from his book, confused.

"First, I see you in one coffee place and now here?" She was trying not to smile.

"Oh! You're the girl who likes coffee designs, right?" He asked as if he didn't know her and he just clued in on where he saw her last. Mia couldn't believe he was really doing this but then he gently pushed out a chair with his foot so she could sit down and said,

"It looks more like you're stalking me." Kirill smiled mysteriously and suddenly got up and went to the counter while Mia remained in the same spot, watching him. He brought over her coffee and placed it on the table in front of the pulled out chair and took his seat once more. "Would you like to sit down with me?"

Mia hesitated but then took a half seat on the chair. "Sure."

"What's your name?" Kirill asked with a smile.

"Mia...what's yours?" She responded uncertainly and feeling very silly.

"Kirill."

"Kirill? Uh oh, that sounds Russian." Mia joked.

"It is. Why uh oh? You don't like Russians?" He responded with a smile and Mia shrugged.

"Not that I don't like them. My ex-husband was Russian." She looked right at him and saw how the word ex-husband hurt him.

"Ex? You're divorced?" He pressed on.
