CHAPTER 15: HOME COMING

***Normal POV (Kaye)***

Myke hugged me like I was gone for more than just a month. Everyone else soon got up and hugged me too asking me how things where, and if I was ok.

"It's OK!! Kaye is fine! No need to panic!" I joked, I was happy to back home with all my friends. JDC was hell!

We all sat at the rounded table in Kellar's kitchen. It had to be around 11:00pm and we just sat and talked about everything like usual.

"We need a party for you." Myke said next to me smiling. He'd been the most excited one to see me home out of everyone else.

"Hell yeah!" Kell said taking a bite out of a chicken nugget. "That, and a baby shower!" he blurted. Everyone fell silent and his eyes grew three times in size.

"Baby shower?" I was confused. "Which one of ya'll hoes got pregnant while I was gone?" I asked, halfway joking and halfway serious. Everybody looked off except Kan who just jumped and pointed at Sen. One, why is Kan so jumpy and two, Sen?

My head slowly turned towards the girl who had her hand on her forehead and giving the death stare to Kan.

"Holy shit, who the baby daddy?" I asked resting on the table, holding my head up with one hand. Oh I gotta know this one.

Sen hesitated then looked at Jai. I was surprised. Jai? Sen and Jai? I didn't even know they liked each other that way.

***Sen's POV***

Fucking Kanidy! I'm so pissed off. I just want to hit her in the face with this glass table. I may be short, but I can do it if I tried.

"That is so cute." Kaye said which caught me way off guard. At the looks of everyone's faces, not just me.

"C-cute?" Jai stuttered.

"Yeah, like... tell me how many pregnant jokes about Sen we told back then. We can't be all sad now that she is. We only have a couple months left of school any way." Kaye ate a chicken nugget when she spoke. She had a point, it's only about two more months of school, then we're all out on our own. Besides Jai, who's going to Miami.

I sat on the couch, still at Kellar's house everyone was asleep. On the floor and in chairs. Kellar's never slept in his own room when we did this, he says it wouldn't be fare for everyone to sleep on couches and carpet while he slept in the bed.

Jai rolled over next to me, yet still sound asleep. I smiled at him, I held something of his inside of me.

I got up to go to the kitchen and got a cup of orange juice, I sat on the high chair and just thought about what just happened.

Kaye just came home to find out her best friend is having a baby. She doesn't know anything about her drugged cousin. How is this all going to even out?

"What you doin' up?" A voice scared the fuck out of me. I turned to see Myke standing in the doorway with his dreads hanging down to his shoulders.

"Oh uh, I couldn't sleep." I told him, taking another sip of orange juice.

"I feel ya, I couldn't sleep for about a month nooow-what is that you're drinking?" He was acting weird, Myke never tried to change the subject that fast.

"What it look like?" I said giving him a face. "What's wrong with you?" I asked.

It wasn't hard to brake Myke, you can read right through him. He may look buff and like a thug but he was nothing but pink matter on the inside, after all he was a Pisces.

"How do you know, if you per say 'love' someone?" He sat down next to me. He looked at me with those dark brown, pitiful eyes. I think I know where this is going.
