Jisung was a lover of autumn, he loved the crunchy leaves falling in colours of browns and oranges, and it was cold enough weather to finally wear sweaters and hoodies a.k.a drown in his boyfriend's clothes. Also Halloween. Halloween was Jisung's favourite celebration. He believes it's because when he was younger, Halloween was the only day he could truly gorge on sweets and chocolate and his parents weren't allowed to stop him. Not to mention he would always come up with ridiculous outfits to go trick-or-treating in.Minho was also a fan of the colder weather but much to Jisung's chagrin, Minho preferred Christmas. Halloween was just a small event in his eyes. Nothing to celebrate. Maybe having to deal with Jisung's insistence to decorate the house top to bottom with fake spider webs, and skeletons pushed him over the edge just slightly each year, but he couldn't say no. Not now especially.
Jisung had pushed Minho out of the house at eleven in the morning, with a list of items that needed to be brought demanding him to stay away until at least four in the afternoon.
It looked mostly like squiggles, but Minho had become a pro at translating Jisung's messy handwriting over the years.
Luckily it was easy to find things, Minho had become accustomed to Jisung's ways and considering this was the second year of the couple living together the day ran like clockwork.Important things to get:
Sweets
Blanket
Coke
Pumpkins
Pumpkin carving stuff
Chocolate
More sweets
A skeleton (fake)Minho was now towing a collection of bags up a couple of steps which led up to the couple's small but cosy house. Jisung had already spent the last week decorating the outside, filled with light-up skeleton hands sticking out of a mound of dirt, just in front of a gravestone.
There were fake webs and spiders hanging from the small front porch. Minho had made a small autumnal wreath to hang on the door.
As Minho struggled to open the door, he was not at all surprised that Jisung had spent the day decorating the inside of the house. Luckily Jisung hadn't gone totally over-board like he had last year. Minho did not need to remember when he walked into the house and was met with a gigantic fake spider. Even the cats were scared of it and wouldn't leave the bedroom — which did force Jisung to eventually take it down for the cat's sake. This year seemed to be a more subtle Halloween and autumnal decorations. Some orange and black tinsel was hung around the house along with some of the same decorations outside there were some small spider webs and fake spiders. Minho only hoped they stayed fake."I wasn't ready! You're early!" Jisung whined as he popped his head out of where the kitchen was.
"Han Jisung, please tell me you haven't made a mess of the kitchen." Minho gave a pointed look at the flour in Jisung's hair, and the mess that Minho could just see on the kitchen island from where he stood by the front door.
"Besides, it's actually nearly five, I stayed out longer than I was meant to, I'm tired and hungry."
As Minho put down the bags that had been weighing him down.Jisung's eyes widened as Minho stepped towards the kitchen, Jisung quickly darted back hoping to clean some of the mess before Minho got a single foot in the room.
"Yah! Jisung!" Minho called as he sped up just in time to see Jisung stuff a load of messy bowls and cutlery into a cupboard.
"Hyungggg you weren't mean to see this! It was a surprise" Jisung pouted as he tried to cover up the half-decorated cookies with a towel.
"Aww cute baby, are these the cats?" Minho peaked under the towel and spotted cat cookies decorated in the colours of Soonie, Dori and Doongie. They each had different kinds of witch hats on them.
"Nooooo," Jisung leant forward and batted Minho's arm away," They aren't finished, you need to pretend you saw nothing." Jisung hissed as he manoeuvred Minho out of the kitchen into the living room where it was all set up for them to carve the pumpkins Minho had gone out to buy.
